You must do this video again. Apply anti-perspirant to the rash. Anti-perspirant contains an active ingredient (aluminum somthing) that pulls the oil out of your skin. Gone in one or two days. You really need to try this. It will make you a believer.

I was bitten by a copper snake 2 1/2 weeks ago, Athens GA. The pain is excruciating and not even morphine touches it. The site of the bite is still swollen, tender and warm. The inflammation takes weeks to go away and you need to be with your foot elevated for 2 to 4 weeks to prevent permanent damage to your lymph glands, veins and special valves that pump the blood up. I was in an urban area, in the asphalt drive way and wearing sandals. We humans have been taking over their habitat, so watch out even if you are in the city.

Cool! About a month ago, i was seeing a bunch of smaller copper-colored dragonflies. Now im wondering if maybe they were actually damselflies? Do they eat insects like dragonflies do? I love dragonflies! Maybe i love damselflies too?!?

I've lived in the Rio Grande Valley for 24 years and have been bitten by male harvester ants many times, mostly a no big deal until yesterday when a female got under my sock and delivered a powerful sting. I can attest to the LONG period of pain, at least 12 hours of unrelenting drill type pain. Thanks for the great informational video. I'll be more mindful of where I walk and stop on the ranch as we have many colonies of harvester ants.

Having had it now. Hot water is #1 itch relief. The hotter the better. #2 get some prednisone if you can (oral med). There really isn't much to help it once it has set in, but steroids do seem to speed up the process of getting rid of it.

I am 72 and have severe cases but years ago I found out that I could use witch hazel, which is an astringent. You dab it on with cotton balls at the first sign and you don’t quit until it’s all dried up. It helps with the itching it will completely dried up and cure it if you will stay with it till it’s all gone. Saturate it all day long. If you stop prematurely, it will come back with a vengeance, not because of the witch hazel just because of the nature of the evil poison ivy

I am from Hong Kong 🇭🇰 SAR. What if birders in the US or Canada do not know or not familiar with bird feathers in Asia, and I pick up that feather 🪶 and bring it home , would that constitute “illegal” ?
