I have a Rosé in front and a Cava in the back. JFF casing. Mostly ridden on country roads. I can feel every rock I ride over, which is a plus. No issues w flats yet, ran tubeless. I should probably have a Rosé in the rear too, but the Cava does surprisingly well. Big fan of the tires! Cheers!

The nostalgia is real! Thanks for watching :)
@Hugo_Rocker16 күн бұрын
Consistently rode and raced fully rigid throughout the 90's with great success. All of us had long stems and crank arms. The trick is to think ahead and lift off the saddle over bumps. Listening to your brakes squealing all the time leads me to believe that your pads are glazed over. Some riders used Hite-Rite seat post droppers but most did not. We even took our full on road bikes off road at times! It is all about attitude.
@bike.breath16 күн бұрын
Ah the golden years! Our east coast rocky trails really put my crank arms to the test. Also my bad knee too :( I almost bought a Hite Rite but the lever up top is a convenience I wasn’t ready to give up just yet haha. Rigid bikes are so fun! Thanks for checking out the video :)

I also have a GM, with Ritchey Kyote bars on it. I just can’t get use to drop bars and I’ve been mtbing since 1997, so it does bring back that early feeling of the sport. The dropper was the first thing I added. Thanks for the video, it’s a pleasant escape for lunchtime at work.
