@@AnunGuy the extra just comes natural for me as the normal strat always felt awkward, doing the extra just requires trust in your kart turning Didnt know if ya were meming or not, hence my jokey but real answer ;D

I am 34, got DD for Christmas when I was like 13. Played it for hours and hours throughout my teenage years and even into my 20s.Played rhe beerio kart version of it with the lads for years too. I thought i basically had the game madtered and was unbeatable at it. I had never even heard kf A-Tech. Going to practice it now and try Speedrunning! Thanks for this video!

i played this game when i was young (had no idea speedrunning was a thing) To this day no one i knew could beat me. But i found out otherwise. Had a high 1.43 and though it was close to perfection. Today i learned otherwise. Unbelievable, you're a Monster.

Me as 7 and 8 year old MKDD player, I took the shroom boost of the shroom carts, and you dont know how to do it? U look so good in this game, but hell nah.

@@ZylpaxGamingxKully shroom cars hardly put the shrooms in a way where it's optimal to use them compared to the timeloss of going out of your way to hit them

@@GoombaNL They don't go random. They go in a specific way. Hit it on the right back, they fly front left, hit them on the left back, they fly front right and on top of that, u get that car speed boost, dont you? If not, I dont want to attack you with "hell nah". You're an awesome driver and we all can see that. I liked your video with the steering wheel on MKDD too. That was a dream when I was a kid. dw got you there :) ♥

@@ZylpaxGamingxKully I'm aware! It's just that it also depends on the shroom cars facing direction, and the distance rarely lining up properly to not lose time. There's definitely moments though where it can work out (e.g on the bridge itself in Mushroom Bridge) but mushrooms actually don't save a whole lot of time in general -- Let alone hit the shroom car optimally when using a steering wheel haha Also, you don't get the car speed boost (which is only when lightninged) as the shroom car doesn't spin you out

@@langstonknapp6889 sure, here's my video explaining it kzbin.info/www/bejne/lXjVYYprpJKLm6c What's really important is training first to get that turnaround jump in general, so Baby Park is a great practice location for that. From there you want to try going for the real thing, jumping as far out and back as you can from that balcony wall

Hey Goomba, just wanted to thank you real quick- Recently I've been trying to 100% Double Dash, and that involves unlocking and beating every staff ghost. I just finished that goal today, and a big part of that is in no doubt thanks to your vids- While not anywhere near the level of play you're at, seeing what driving paths and shortcuts you take for each track really helped me understand how I should be approaching each Time Trial and saved me a lot of trial and error. Your skill in this game is incredible, and thank you. :)
