Ohhhh what nice memories .i use to pass in fromt of it when i go to senglea every day .i remember people living there and i even saw it open and all i remember as i was very little are the stairs .never been inside .

Our dream is coming true Conrad. I told you that it's such a pity all that space abandoned and not utilised. As you said it can be used for a very good purpose. People buy buildings with the intention of repairing them and then start the demolition process of the necessary part and then discover issues that they were not prepared for, run out of money, health changes, deaths...etc. When it comes to restoring places like this, it's very specific buyers that go after it. It can take a long time to find another one and if the home is left to its own devices, it will always move steadily into further disrepair. It's so sad because this one is stunning.

They'd be letting this place get destroyed so they can build an 8 story block of tasteful apartments - its a disgrace that a place like this does not have a preservation order on it - the owners should lose it, but they're probably a foreign mafia outfit who bought their citizenshio for the very honest Maltese government
