It’s interesting how Shizuna was on the back foot given how she failed to land a single blow and actually did take a hit. Strongest jaeger in the east indeed.

Damn, this almost doesn't feel like the same series. The sprite animations in Sky and Crossbell were great but limited. The Cold Steel animations were horribly stiff. But this... this is almost AAA standard. And all done with a tiny team of around 30 and a fraction of the budget of any of the big ones. Falcom really is amazing. More gaming companies could learn from them.

Smash is great and all, but seeing multiplayer Rivals of Aether with worskhop characters and how amazing the art style and presentation are is unparalleled. Feels like Melee in that way but with more true to character representation.

i love how Alear goes on the offensive and lands a few counters to regain the momentum of the fight after getting hit with the crit. even tho it’s chance, it totally felt like fight IQ

So happy I've picked up the Trails series I'm currently on Trails in Sky SC. Can't wait to get to Cold Steel looks freaking awesome. I've seen some of the cutscenes for fight scenes look epic. I'm playing it on steam with a xbox controller.

If you just want the story i suggest watch KZbin walkthrough cause the games are super long it will save a lot of your time Cold steel 2 had ending, ending and finally ending Currently playing the 3

While Cold steel is the worst arc of the bunch, it is still worst arc from an AMAZING series of games. It's not masterpiece like Sky or Zero/Azure, but it's still a very good quadrology.

I still can't believe Alear has a Garbage Magic growth naturally, only has B in arts, *and* has incredible sword options, yet for some reason, they're advertised like they can shoot beams and stuff, like where is it, why is it only on Melee? So i never leave them their base class. Feels pointless.

One of the crit animations looks like they shoot a long range palm blast. But yeah, to get Alear to have decent magic growth to use fist, probably need to promote to sage first.

To each their own. I wasn't considering getting this game since the characters, their interactions and the general premise of the game seem a little flat compared to Three Houses, but the combat looks so fucking dope I'm conflicted. Once I saw the judgement cut crit my wallet was sweating.

Ah yes, because Nomads in the GBA era being able to synchronize a fucking Mario and Luigi style high jump into slamming a sword into the enemy's skull is a lot more suited for Fire Emblem than a Judgement Cut.
