Rean stopped a Civil War that couldve killed a million+ innocent people. Youll have to forgive me as Ive not played Reverie or Kuro, let alone Kuro 2, but what Heroic deeds or anything selfless has this Shizune done? I find it to be BULLSHIT that the MC alot of us grew to admire ( lets be real. Half of us were introduced to Kiseki via the NA localization of Trails of Cold Steel ) gets absolutely made a joke of like this.

​@@joiseydragun7110 Keep in mind all of that stuff Rean did was all orchestrated by Gilliath Osborne. As for who Shizuna is without too many spoilers. She's the vice-leader of a Jaeger corps from the east (Like even more east of Calvard where Sherazard/Luciola/etc are from). This Jaeger corps being an even bigger threat than Red Constellation/Zephyr. She is also a Divine Blade and secret disciple of Yun Ka-Fai. In Reverie, similar to the doors in Sky the 3rd, there is one story where she and Rean have an encounter. She copies his Spirit Unification (an ability unique to him) after seeing it a single time and breaks his sword. The person she was fighting in the video is "The Strongest Jaeger." Like I said. Basically a cooler Rean.

In 2 its said he is strongest Jaeger on continent so not just in Calvard but he should be stronger than for example Red Constellation guys like Sigmund. Not sure about Rutger since you cannot count him anymore. And ironically Shizuna herself is Jaeger at this point and Ikagura is stated to be highest danger level of Jaeger... so who knows, maybe she would be current strongest Jaeger.

Damn, this almost doesn't feel like the same series. The sprite animations in Sky and Crossbell were great but limited. The Cold Steel animations were horribly stiff. But this... this is almost AAA standard. And all done with a tiny team of around 30 and a fraction of the budget of any of the big ones. Falcom really is amazing. More gaming companies could learn from them.

"Best cinematic/cutscene fight". People would argue that Joshua vs Loewe or Aurelia vs Arianrdhod at this point in the Kiseki series can't be topped, mostly because Kuro's cast don't have the longevity to bring the emotional factor in, nor the in-game characters lore to the table, but it's really good that they can actually articulate better fights outside of gameplay.

I'm late in answering, but I'm pretty sure it's cos they weren't able to make good animations with the old game engine. The first time Falcom used the new one in trails, was with Hajimari, and people say that it has some good fights too.

It's not hard to be "the best", when they started spending budget on those cutscenes since literally Kuro. But the sequence for final boss was way cooler tbh. Didn't feel that levels of hype since CS2 finale.
