In 1996, When this was played heavily, I was a Fetus and I guess I heard this song back in the Womb. Apparently I really loved it, Otherwise I can't explain why i'm so obsessed with this song and feel bonded to it.

This is just so ... pretty... The closest ref. I can think of is The Las There she goes, obviously better, but loving music is about the shading between the benchmarks, the subtle moments. Xx

One of my lifes soundtrack songs. I loved The Bluetones as a kid in the 90's. I was 16 years old and a mad Stone Rose's fan who couldnt see past them until bands like Oasis, The Verve, OCS, Shed 7,The Charlatans, Inspiral Carpets and The Bluetones changed that. This is my karaoke song.

This was the very first single that I bought with my own money when i was a kid. Can remember skipping school after lunch to get bus into town and go to Woolworths. Think it was £3. Still got it to this day. Huge bee on the cover with green background. I think it was Babylon Zoo that kept it from reaching number 1 at the time. That was at a time when you had to sell tens of thousands just to hit the charts. This song and video were played everywhere.

It was ‘96. I’d been dating an Australian and I really liked him but it looked like it wasn’t to be. He had borrowed my Bluetones CD and I wanted it back especially because of this cute little song that seemed to speak so much about my situation. Reader, I’ve been married to him for 25 years! ❤
