I was stationed nearby in Augsburg from 1989-92 as a young American G.I. I have never felt more at home and welcome anywhere more than in Bavaria and I can't wait to go back in the Spring for a month or two! Ich leibe Bayern!

Great pictures and really good clear audio. My only dislike is seeing your lady ( as attractive as she is ) in EVERY scene. You either start on her or pan around to her. Dont take this the wrong way but sometimes its nice just to see the scenery. Cheers Max. Australia.

The 1st class compartment looks very nice indeed! I took this train last fall from Hamburg to Stockholm and back. I also booked 1st class, but unfortunately SJ had trouble providing the rolling stock on both journeys. We only found out at the station that we would have to use a couchette instead (the 6 bed compartment). At least it was empty and my gf and me had it to ourselves. Still very annoying and because we were using interrail, we didn't even get a proper refund. Only the ~50€ reservation fee. I'd love to do this journey again one day (the proper way this time), but I'm very worried about SJ turning it into a disaster once again. 😬

Härlig video. Jag ska med familjen boka Euronight, Sthlm, Hamburg, 1 klass, t/r så fort biljetterna släpps. På SJ ser det ut som 1 klass har tre bäddar. Men det ser ut som det bara är två bäddar. Vet du hur det ligger till med det, finns det olika typer av 1 klasskupéer?

Took that train last summer, but in the other direction, from Stockholm to Hamburg. We went to Berlin too, and later onwards to Munich and more, but for that we took the German high-speed train, the Inter-City Express. I got all the way to Milan by train, except for the route between Munich and Zurich where I took a FlixBus coach, but that's only because the train was canceled because of storm damage to the track. I cheated on the way back to Sweden however, and flew back to Stockholm from Milan.
