I've been looking at a lot of videos. The people that tend to stick with the cash cars 10 to say that Turo is worth it. The ones that have really financed a lot of their fleet they tend to question whether to stay in it.

The body may be an original design but all the parts are a mix bag from stored parts for major manufacturers all made in china 😅😅😅 So many horrer stories from the rangers and the massive zr2 heap of junk .Guy i work for bought the high end 6.2v8 silverado has blown 2 engines a gearbox and numerous diffs and he babies this car he has had a full refund $100k plus gets to keep the car but no more repairs on the company .

7 year warranty doesn't mean a thing. When I used to service my Mitsubishi ute at the dealership it was an argument ever time with the warranty guy. My passenger side step was rusting and the passenger side window on the canopy was rusting too, the warranty guy in his early twenties and son of the service manager accused me of driving through salty water, I told to go look at the driver side and tell me if you see any rust, he said no but your driving through salty water, I sad yes I am driving through salty water on two wheels just like Duke Of Hazzard's, now go get the fu$-ing service manager. manager approved it and when booking the car in I told to order all the parts they need before the day so you don't have to tell to bring it back like you usually do because of a missing parts and don't call me until car is finished......... They called me and the car is ready to be picked up, I got to the service desk the guy was doing the paperwork, I looked to the side and saw my car with the new canopy and my roof rack was was hanging on the side of the canopy, l looked at the guy and said, "are you sure my car is ready," and he said yes, " man look look at my car does that look ready to you? I had to check car over and make sure they bolted everything and nothing was going to come off while driving.

The electrical side of ldv is the same quality as you would get from a flee market lose connectors lose harness bad quality components terrible transmissions underpowered engine terrible rubbish

Hey Mike; this is awesome! I am working the other way around. I am a turo host and am doing most of my maintenance on my turo vehicles. I think having a shop to service other peoples car ad maintain your turo fleet is smart and the way to go! What state are you in? I am in Oklahoma

I brought a 2020 LDV T60 new now done over 90,000 done all regular services, still going strong plenty of room, value for the money, eats fords for breakfast.

I love my LDV FOR MANY REASONS AND IM A FARMER

I have driven and borrowed a few Chinese cars now. And I can tell you from experience there all absolute garbage. They cram it full of features they stole from other cars and none of them ever work properly or they work very annoyingly. The ldv cruise closest setting is about 5 semi trucks away from car infront and and then beeps at you because you got the indicator on and there's a guard rail on the side your turning. The dpf blocked completely after 20000ks. Then you have the mgs that the gearbox craped out after 75000ks and the blower for the aircon/heater shorted wiring which is frankly a fire hazard. The great wall had identical problems to the ldv and I can go on and on. Simply don't buy Chinese cars there garbage. I just hope I don't get a neighbour bring home a Chinese ev because a don't want that fire hazard next to my house

If people didn’t want to pay the price of new cars, they used to buy second hand. Now they are buying LDV’S and MG’s. On the surface it makes sense - new car and warranty. Long term they’re buying junk.

Why cant you go for Mahindra if Chinese cars are junk. Mahindras have a legacy of many decades and proven to work in harsh conditions. They may not be the luxurious or best finish but will last for a life time.

My mate had to engine replaced on the ldv van with less 40,000km on it, serviced on time. I would say stay away from LDV

Back in Feb found paint peeling off the Turrett on my LDV T60. Watched your vid here. On further inspection i also found rust under 1 door handle. Now 9 months later LDV have also given me a full refund!!. Corrosion issues. 4 years old and 128000km. $38860 back in my pocket. Although it took 9 months, most of this because of the dealer. Cheers for the heads up Mike.

I used to work as a delivery driver for a wine company. I desperately tried to get them to get them to switch from the VW Transporter (Not a bad van, but the Bluetooth went on it and it was just getting old) to a Toyota HiAce. Keeping in mind that the idiots who had the final say in the purchases NEVER did deliveries or had experience in the places we delivered to. They got some crappy LDV van (Because it could carry more weight and had dual side doors). What an absolute pile. I used it once and that was it. It had no redeeming qualities. From that point on I swore I'd never get an LDV

Have you seen info on LDV's warrantee terms? I am considering getting one, but the lack of warrantee terms on their website has me baulked. Normally its laid out in years or number of kilometres, but at the time of writing today its just boiler plate 'contact us' for help kind of info.
