Id probably go: Purge 3, MoC 3, Conc 1, Ichor 1, dex 3, focus 2, wp4, acuity1 and lw1. That’s my preference. Some prefer going MoC5 but it is a waste of points unless you are higher rank in my opinion

Thanks! Given I’ve only played solo sorc between the three classes, I’d probably say sorcerer or ment. Sm has a natural advantage against melee, but will be outranged by almost any caster. Given my main focus is playing a class that can win 1vsX (X as to intend adds, but also as 1vs2 or more), I would probably go sorcerer since it is by far the safest pick of the three. Bolt mezz, debuffs, lifetap and stun from pet: you basically have everything you want. Also it is worth considering what classes you will be facing: ment is for sure strong, but lacks aoe cc. I really can’t see a ment win against bd+something else if the mids have at least one brain cell. But this is all paper daoc, real daoc is very different. Hope this helped! :D

80 starting points + 15 character creation + 23 by level up + 12 (aug dex 3) + 109/109 (deserter arcane) + 155 buffs (d/q + dex/con with buff effectiveness) = 394. I think you either don’t have capped buff effectiveness while using the charges or just 2 starting points in dexterity, but that’s unlikely

I use the buff cape of legerdemain base dex and director's ring of Anarchy and I only have 140 buffs, why am I already losing 15 points here. Whereas you have 155... For character creation, did you remove the Intel points for dex? But the 300 intel you've got, I've got the same thing with the red acquity. I'm trying to understand ;D@@evoenia6253

@@kruzerswans3866 moc is nice to have as soloing, but doesn’t allow to have long cc’s as quickcast does. Also baseline lifetap damage isn’t that high, I don’t know if I could reliably tank someone. Worth nothing most people will just run away from it. I don’t mind people not respecting 1vs1 (I don’t respect them as well. When I do those are exceptions): getting added and the handling the adds is what makes solo entertaining in my opinion. Also way too low rr to invest in moc for my liking, but thanks for the replies and watching the videoes! :D

That champ was very weird, running high determination but being solo? I fear he must’ve changed spec with debuffs recorded, so they simply wouldn’t fire. Don’t think the outcome would’ve changed though!

I’d say it can be a bit hard getting into DAoC due to having to know the abilities of each class. I never played any mmorpg besides this, so I don’t know how “different” it is compared to others, but community is very active on Eden. It also depends on your playstyle, going solo is (imo) the hardest playstyle because if you make one mistake you are dead. There are three realms, the most “friendly” to new players is Hibernia since there’s almost always a RvR (realm vs realm) battlegroup active. It’s very subjective, the only way to know is trying it out though! :D

Thank you very much! Sorc is very fun at lvl 50, but it relies a lot on the pet for some clutch stuns. It’s a solo visible caster, if you are burn out a little maybe something a bit “safer” is better for you!

I am lvl 49 now. In your temp did you get a lot of items that give the 75 stat bonus? I see a lot of red buffs.
