I just started on Eden as a Wizard, this gives me hope. Although i have never pvpd in daoc outside of low lvl mordred back in the day. Im gonna get wrecked for a while im sure.

Good to know! You will for sure get wrecked a lot no matter what, especially since now realm rank 5 abilities are in (all footage was taken when realm cap was below rank 5). Although some rvr quests have been introduced, maybe you’ll have a better time finding solo opponents than I did :D

What is the ground set macro you used? Do you have multiple? I have it bound to my mouse but in water it will only put it in the ground so it never hits its mark :(

I have multiple ones, iirc its 0, 500, 750 and 1000. I have them bound on f1-f4. I think that if you are above water, the ground target will drop above water. If you are diving, the macro should put the ground target under water on the same level as you are. You’re talking about one of the first clips against the sb, right?

My starting points are 15 dex 10 int. I think my bolts never missed anyone, other spells have normal resists rate

Yes bd is very annoying solo, most of them run full darkness or split dark/supp. I don’t know how strong they are, but for sure they perform well!

Nearsight has 15% matter debuff attached, combined with 10% spell pierce from toa and people running low matter resist, spec bolt hits for quite some damage 😅

how are you getting red buffs? With items? Well done out there. i dont think i have the skill to solo in RVR on a wizzy but the damage you are doing is insane. I love it. I guess its comp to a enchanter damage? They hit hella hard. Also what spec did you choose? I may make a wizzy today lol.

Spec is 50 earth 20 ice. Red buffs are given from charge items (can be used from inventory). Damage is really high because nearsight has 15% matter debuff attached to it and most people didn’t (no idea now) run matter resist because only earth wizard and matter sorcerer/cabalist had those damages (and you won’t be encountering much of those). Wiz does way more damage than enchanter, think it isn’t comparable to any other class for pure raw damage (especially if you run fire spec)

It is for sure viable, you have lots of utility and lots of damage (most people run low matter in template). Take into account that footage was taken pre RR5, cap was 4l4 or 4l9 iirc. At this point more people are running high purge/high charge or their rank 5 will shut you down easily (especially skalds). Viable but stressful, since you have no room for mistake

@@evoenia6253 yeah i prob have to play boring skald or something like that for solo . Inlike to blow something up fast but iam not as good as you and will prob just suffer. Or roll a hib caster for solo .. they are so overplayed tho. Damn thank you for taking your time
