Why stop? They don't want garbage and piss bottles in their lot. They own the business and can refuse service to anyone.

Hey Sammy they also don't allow people to park there overnight. Justin has a few videos where he stopped at a Buc ee's but he parked in the street and walked over. Many Waal Marts are not just cracking down on trucks parking overnight they are going RV's and travel trailers. When I was living in Maryland the local Wal Mart always had people camping out a good deal of the time before they left they would open the valve for the blackwater tank out on to the ground in the parking lot. Stay safe out the Sammy and Happy New Year

On my trip south to winter home last month, stopped overnight at a friends home in Bridgewater VA (exit 240 on I-81) where they are building a Buc-ee’s! Apparently the first one in VA, and it’s right across road from a Liberty truck stop so would be convenient for someone to cross over to get some of the food. But Sheetz is building a station nearby that will have truck pumps, I was told, so that may be another option for drivers.

I get it. They want a place where families can stop on road trips without some stinky trucker in flip flops staring at their daughter. Yes, we're mostly professional and polite and clean but... a lot of y'all are complete disrespectful slobs. Watched a dude just today casually toss a bag of garbage right on the street pulling out from the shipper.

Hey, not trying to be rude here but you need to edit your title as there are a few spelling or grammar mistakes. I'm not an expert when it comes to this stuff but yours are simple anyway. It should read as follows: "Trucker goes in Buc-ee's and is not kicked out. Truckers against Buc-ee's". In your title, you have the first "go" with an apostrophe but it shouldn't be this way as it needs to be spelled "goes". Then, you have the "trucker's" with an apostrophe which is showing as the trucker has possession of something but that's not the way it should be there either. So, you should leave the "truckers" without an apostrophe. As far as capitalizing every letter in the word "buc-ee's", I'm not sure if that's necessary but do whatever you want there. I don't know if all the letters are capitalized in their name on their buildings or not. Either way that's not as big of a deal as the other things.

It's a gas station designed as a tourist trap.. only tourists are going there. Locals in almost every tourist heavy town hates the tourists because they are often rude, gross, and caring about crap that doesn't matter. I walk into most Love's TRAVEL STOPs and see clean parking lots and clean bathrooms. Kwik Trips are the same way. I go to regular gas stations with zero truck parking that I can fit it just for a short break with no issues.

It’s funny you did this video because my wife and I were talking about this over Christmas. I was one of those that was mad about Buckeyes truck policy till my wife pointed out that Buckeyes was a good thing. She pointed out to me how the general motoring public in truckstops always pisses me off because they are always in my way. She pointed out if they all go to Buckeyes then they will no longer be in my way. I thought about it and realized she was right. So while I won’t give them any of my money, I hope they are successful. Because even if I am lucky enough to retire before I die, I will google a gas station and restaurant off the highway to go to instead of Buckeyes.
@eldridge2014 күн бұрын
I think your wife's "theory" is a bit flawed though. It only works if ALL of the fuel stops do what she is suggesting andn not just ones that also allow big semi trucks because these fuel places are almost NEVER big semi truck "exclusive". And likely, it never will be that way because the majority of fuel stops all around the country need to have the business of both truckers and smaller vehicles to generate the most profit which is what business is all about for "most" people. Sure, there are a few fuel places around the country that are primarily designed for semi trucks but those are rare. But, what specifically are people doing that is invonvenient for you at the truckstops that is such a problem that you are going to be able to get around? With the exception of smaller places, the smaller vehicles and semi trucks are usually seperated as far as the fuel pumps go. So, that shouldn't be a problem in "most" cases unless you're dealing with an extremly busy fuel stop where you're sitting and waiting in line at the fuel station on the truck side and semi trucks and smaller vehicles are just clogged up everywhere. If that's happening, well, you just simply hit a really busy fuel place. I've NEVER ran into a place that was so crowded I couldn't get in whether it was me wanting to fill up my diesel pickup and was hauling stuff and pulled into the truck lane or my car and needed gasoline. But also, are you not able to be around people in general? Although "some" places can be a bit crowded, for the most part, there aren't "typically" long lines of people trying to get hot dogs, pouring coffee, or trying to check out. "Most people" generally don't like to "crowd" each otheer and spread out when in a place like a fuel store or convenience store. But again, if you're hitting places that are so crowded that it's hard to walk through the store, I would guess that they must have just recently had a bus of kids come through (like what happened to me at a Love's at 3:30am the other morning) or, it's tourist season and they just have really good fuel prices. Regardless, I haven't been to too many stores that are so crowded that I thought it was more than I could handle or it was overwhelming or too much. Is it possible you're just a bit oversensitive to stuff like that? But also, are you a semi driver and you're referring to dealing with this stuff from that perspective or are you talking about just driving your regular vehicle? If you're having such bad luck being at the busiest fuel stops, then I would say that you have really bad luck or, you need to stop going to those same fuel stops all the time. But also, what are you needing at these places other than fuel that you have to interact with the general public? If it's about walking through the store to get snacks, I would suggest to stop doing that in the first place since the prices at these places is sky high to begin with. UNLESS I'm really desperate for some coffee to keep me awake or I got hungry for something I didn't already have with me, I almost never buy food or drinks at these places and just stock up at Walmart because it's so much cheaper. Other than the occasional needing to use the bathroom, you shouldn't need to be interacting with the general public anyway. You can do all of your fuel stuff out at the pump if you have a fuel card and credit card UNLESS it's an older station where they request that you go inside. So, what's going on that you think the general public is too bothersome at these places?
@JesseSilas-mr3qi3 күн бұрын
She lied to you to save your feelings, if you're a trucker today"Nobody wants your nasty butt on their property". Not referring to you directly, but an actual majority of truckers are Nasty people, or that's the label that has been put on us. As a trucker, I 100% understand why nobody wants to deal with us. The lack of self respect and respect for others is non existent in the industry now. Trucks in 4 wheeler parking and destroying landscaping and leaving your biomedical waste on the lot. I support this business for offering a family atmosphere to the traveling public, free from TRUCKERS. Only kin folk and close personal friends know I drive a truck. Everyone else thinks I'm the piano man at the local whore house.😢

First time I ever saw a Buccees was in Texas about 15 years ago. I pulled in bobtail to grab a bite to eat before going to my next load. I was meet at the door and told truckers were not allowed and I would have to leave. I've never been back. If you want to go that's all part of your freedom to do so. I don't like the thought of you feeling I have a third grade mentality because I hold to my values. I hope with time you are able to be what some of the true truckers before my time was. God bless and good luck with your trucking.

You hold your values on one place and don’t realize the others you frequent don’t allow semis. Bucees aren’t for truckers. Is what it is.
@jamiereynolds31753 күн бұрын
I don't go to Walmart. I go to places that treat me with the same respect as I treat them. My favorite steakhouse is cattleman's in Danville KY and you will see semi's pull off the road there quite often. I understand Buccees not wanting semi's in their parking lot. But they meet me at the door telling me to leave. So that's what I did. All I'm saying is don't judge all truckers that don't go in as stupid and childish.
