QUESTION: how does and OUTFIELDER or infielder THROW FOR SPEED, ACCURACY AND DISTANCE? They must grab the ball so quickly sometimes that it would seem they don't have time for any particular grip. True? (So amazing how an outfielder with a cannon arm can get the speed, accuracy and distance! Thanks!

Depending on the context of the game, I just love getting the easy out at 2B. Many times the runner on 3B is not expecting the full thrown down and doesn't break quickly, so we have gotten the tag at 2B and then a napping runner that now tries to head home.

id like to recommend a wadded up white baseball sock…its nice and soft while having a similar look to a baseball when being thrown back and forth. just play catch with the sock until the kid is able to consistently maintain proper technique…then one day dont say anything about it and use a baseball instead of the wadded up sock.

It all depends on the type of glove, your position on field, and how you want to break in

I've got a kid on my team with a lot of natural baseball ability, but he's 11 and this is his first year in baseball, so he's afraid of the ball like he's in t-ball. At the beginning of the season, he was afraid of the baseball in every way, but I've been able to stop him from backing out of the batter's box and I've been able to get him to field a ground ball, but I simply can't get him to get under a pop fly. I tried tennis balls and he fields them perfectly, but the instant I go back to a hardball, he backs up and tries to catch the ball from 3 ft away. His mind is telling him to get under it, but his body simply won't let him do it. I want to put him in the infield so badly, because I'm cheering like hell for this kid, but if he won't get under a pop fly, he's playing the outfield. I'm looking for the magic trick to get him over this fear.

Im 14 and have my sinker as my 2nd strike pitch. It moves inward because i never came over the ball ill have to try that. Overall its my best pitch i have my 4 seam also and my 12-6 curveball. Im the starting pitcher for my rec team and i have yet to have a solid hit off my sinker, they always hit it off the handle of the bat. Cant use it on lefties however so ill try coming over the ball.
