Miss him so much. Thank goodness we saw him a dozen times. Jimmy and Harry Chapin were my favorites. Got to see both in Cleveland and Orlando, both places I lived. 72 now and still play their music. Thank God I lived in the same time as both of them. God blessed me with them.

Panama City Beach/Mexico Beach, FL? But the quality of the last sunset light doesn't seem from here. Maybe be it truly was filmed in Marseilles! ❤ (But it's not the scenery, it's the voice, all of it.) This is how I'll always remember him: for this song.

In 2006, I picked up the book in DFW airport on the way to Mexico to decide if I could retire there. Checked out Sayulita and Chacala. Bought a salty piece of land in Lo de Marcos. Built a casita overlooking the ocean. Went surfing. Ate shrimp tacos. Learned to make a decent margarita. I’ve since given that book to a dozen different people. Thank you and rest in peace, Jimmy.

They play this version on Sirius XM Margaritaville radio…it’s slightly edited but I’m not sure why? It’s not like there’s time constraints for songs like on terrestrial radio? Anyway I’m glad I found the original version! Thanks for posting it! Fins Up & Bubbles Up 🦜✌️❤️

wow that's very cool for me! You can hear me screaming on the video. On another note of my "claim to fame" the Facebook site for Jimmy played one of my videos once. Defying Gravity. It was so cool to me to think that someone from Jimmy's organization had looked at my stuff! Fins Up! Jimmy will be with us forever!

Its a fairly easy enough obvious statement... Jimbo had a decent grasp on the pulse of the common man in the golden age of the American dream. Your parents dont like me because i was their plug. All Jimmy's booksvare like he is having a conversation with you. The children's books he wrote with his daughter are fantastic. Jolly Mon & Trouble Dolls. I give Jolly Mon when littles turn 2 or 3. It was my son's favorite. I had to read it every night for almost a year. My sweet boy is now 32.☘️🦩🦩🎈
