I'm sorry but the carbon fiber windscreen looks atrocious. I came here for the bar end installation tutorial but had no idea what I was going to witness. Forget about impracticality, they look so much worse than black tinted screen too, just completely out of place. And the amazing thing about bikes is how much more you can view than cars, but that windscreen blocks half the road and how would you even see anything when you tuck in? Sorry but that is by far the worst windscreen I have ever seen and I probably have a strong opinion cause I go to the track sometimes and having that on my R6 would have killed me by now lol.

Was thinking about doing it this way for my Z. but Im doing something, not many people. probably no one, have thought of. But I want to use my headlights with the cover. So how do I do this? I was using privacy film. But not as much light came through as I wanted. So im taking urethane from some plastic drawers and shaping them to my headlights, then Im gonna use heat to get them as close as I can then put on some clear vinyl wrap, and then gloue the covers to the wrap, while its on the car. That way, Im not doing any damage to my headlights. Im going for a flourescent diffused light look. Ive found alot of different avenues I could take. But this one seems to let the light come through the most.

I’m thinking about doing this to my bmw Z3. The convertible top is about the same color as yours. Do you recommend doing it this way?

I paid $12 on ebay for 5% mirror tint. I installed them. The whole car minus the windshield for $45 total. The small windows just trace it out with paper cut out as a stencil and u will be ok. The side windows and others are fine. It is a thicker film though .

If you wanna get low, don't do this. Get yourself springs 2in longer than your current and 50-75% the spring rate. Math: Stroke: 155mm/5.3in Sprung Mass: 850lb Motion Ratio: 1:1 or 1 Bumpstop height: 2in Spring Rates: 280lb/in(5kg/mm) and 560lb/in(10kg/mm) Preload: 1in and 0in (5.3−(850÷280−1)−2) = 1in (5.3−(850÷560)−2) = 1.8in With the lower spring rate, you're only 1in above the bump stop AND you can adjust ride height even more by changing preload.

I am a 20 year composite engineer. The JP fiberglass is 75 year old materials. Boat garbage. Thin gel goat that will never stop cracking. Ester resins and cop glass. It's the weakest and cheapest composite on the market. Neither one of these products are made in the USA. I hope you figured that much out on your own

I had to secure my battery and when the piece I got wasn’t the right size I was gonna return it and then, shut the trunk on my keys.
