Its still a great car I have the 2.8 C5 , I have owned many older Mercedes E and BMW 5 series also but this is my favourit a very solid car made for the German autbahn

It’s a fun car but the previous owner didn’t take the best care of it so I been getting it right.

I think you got an excellent car! There are very predictable cars once you own a few. I have my own collection. Fix them up and rotate them is what I do. Looking forward to your up dates here! Love the oem idea!

I have 2.4l v6 fwd good hp good torque 200hp 285nm stock mine Will be chiptuned and Will jump to 240hp 340nm I also have a a4 b6 3.0l quattro the 3.0 is rated for 220hp 300nm but the exually have 250HP 350NM same for my 2.4l v6 its rated at 170hp 230nm but they exually produce 200hp 285nm stock also 0-60 in 7.5 seconds and a top speed of 250kmh 155mph with the 2.4 fwd with auto not bad for 200hp in a 1.5 tonne car when chiptuned to 240hp it should do 0-60 in around 6.5 seconds wich gets close to some v8s a mercedes e class e430 4.3l v8 with 280hp on paper does 0-60 in around 6.5 seconds so i could challenge some v8s

We daily drive a stage III 2002 allroad 2.7t 6 speed. It's by far our favorite in over 40 years of VW/Audi/Porsche ownership.
