I moved the filter to the can outlet, blocked the top, and run a hose from the crankcase to the can, and not back through to the turbo and intake.

I did not need the third row and stored it. The thing weighs a ton.

Shouldn't tighten down the timing cover bolts until the crank pulley is fully seated on and into the crank seal. That is the alignment tool for the timing cover. Torque afterwards.

I wanted to go with this cam but went with sloppy Stage 2.

Got a question. I took a 6.0 out of a 2003 yukon Denali and put in my 2008 Chevy Tahoe LT had to move the car sensor to the front. It will start but hard to start. Any ideas what the problem could be

My 2013 did the same thing on cylinder 6. The lifter actually unlocked into two pieces. Replaced all lifters on that bank. Runs like a top now. Also bought a disabler for afm system.

How many grains of sand were on the end of the new cam after you set it on the floor with the assembly grease?

I blocked the top and ran the filter on the outlet to save space in my yj. So it goes in the normal inlet through the filter and vents to atmosphere through the filter on the outlet. I also felt the filter on top was going to cause the vapor to bypass the catch can.

None of these symptoms but the car is drinking up coolant real fast.

mine all lifters moves but is making missfire plus knocking noise very bad cylinder 2 elso purchase the repair manual follow the direction about torque and secuence no luck still making noise and missfire

Apparently you can add 3 qts of oil to your motor jack up the back of the truck 2 foot and if your oil pressure comes back then you know it’s that stupid oil ring. I’ll be doing this test tomorrow on my 2012. Do you think that a damaged/old oil pump would also effect the AFM/DOD lifters???? Causing them to collapse I mean those things are temperamental. I have a 130k on my truck no issues yet but I don’t want any if I can avoid it

Just watched your video on how to mark hp tuners make a small came sound big via tuning alone. I was curious on average how long do you think it takes someone with zero experience or knowledge of HP tuners to be able to learn how to use it. I want to delete AFM/DOD with a BTR trucknorris or maybe a Texas speed stage 1 or 2. Still figuring out cams so if I’m not entirely making sense with cam choice forgive me. But all that aside I really don’t want to pay somebody to do my tune. I called a few places and they were kind of high in my opinion anywhere from 700 to 1200 depending on if I Dyno it or want special tuning so on so on.

Purple power is under 5 bucks a gallon at Walmart. It’s the best cleaner for the money I’ve found in all my 30 years of being a tech. Works better when activated with water too.
