Matt and Mo Fisch not sure if you are going to see this but going to ask. Why are you using an inline banana weight with the downrigger ball and the flatfish? Interesting insights about sound , vibration and the sure hook. I fish for lakers too so I found this really interesting.

I don’t understand why you boneheads feel the need to hold a fish out of water for that long. If you plan on releasing fish and want to preserve the resource for other catch and release anglers take better care of the fish. We don’t need thirty seconds to look at a cookie cutter 14” rainbow.

Why use 2 flies...what do you think happens to the line/fly of the dropper when the trout hits the top fly? It wraps around the fish, thats what!

Awesome video! I live in Hot Springs, MT. Those fish tacos looked so good my mouth was watering. I've lived in a lot of different states but nothing comes close to Montana. My favourite area is NW MT, near Kalispell. Hopefully, by next spring I will be living near Kalispell. Sanders County is nice but it takes forever to drive to a good fishing spot (except the Flathead River).

Thx for the memory. Fished Rock Creek 20 years ago. Morning was magic on nymphs. Sat down at noon for lunch. Could hear bugs crashing through the bushes next to the water. Got thwacked in the back of the head by one. Grabbed it. 2 inch salmonfly. We hit the hatch dead on. The afternoon was unforgettable. Every cast. Browns gorged with salmonflies puking out their mouths. Hundred fish day. Rock Creek is like fishing on a water slide. Thx

flossing is technically illegal in montana as the fish has to voluntarily take the hook....... by definition in the montana regulations it states that you are snagging a fish if you fish in a manner where the fish dosent voluntarily take the hook in its mouth
