Hey Gio, Ourimbah is my favourite for many years, it's about 1hr drive from Sydney, I'm sure you'll enjoy it, they have added heaps of new trails over the last couple of years

@@Mushkindidiboy Yeah, most of the videos on my channel are from around Sydney, I'm not sure what's your style of riding to give you good recommendation.. you prefer more mellow XC trails or steeper, technical DH type of trails?

Yeah, guys at CCMTB are doing awesome job on maintaining and adding new trails 🤙

Last section is the longest, first 2 are fast, mostly downhill. Sorry for a late response, I hope you enjoyed the trail if you had a chance to ride it

cheers Kevo, yeah I was exploring this area a bit during the winter lockdown days. Overall is mostly XC territory but there are few nice trails with some jumping features here and there

1 & 2... 3 is not very technical either in my opinion so it all depends mostly on your fitness not experience level

It probably depends on your fitness level but if you follow the trail it will be at least 30mins climb. I think there is also a steep firetrail shortcut to go to the top which is about 15-20min. We used to climb few years ago, especially in the winter. We were able to do 4 runs during the day max. Nowadays we're too lazy and always book shuttles 😜 With shuttles you can easily do 8 runs.

@@PavoMTB hmm.. i might do a mixture. Apparently you can do single shuttles now for 10 bucks a pop.

@@themtbpoet8886 That's cheap, we paid $70/day back in late Nov 2020. And I think I did about 7-8 runs anyways

It's actually a mixture of green and blue trails. There are few black trails there as well, such as Bobcats

yeah we loved it too, we were lucky to ride the trails right after they were updated and refreshed by trail fairies 😁 Planning to go there again soon. Both Tuggers and Majura are awesome, Canberra has many great MTB spots

There still upgrading and building new tracks all the time

Yeah Loftus has mostly green and blue trails so it will be great if you didn't ride for so long. However there are few more challenging trails there too (for example Bobcats or Holy Trail). You can definitely try Holy Trail as you get more confidence and probably skip the Bobcats for the time being.

Do you guys only ride in the weekend? Thinking of some late afternoon ride during the week

@@benjyleung7784 Yeah mostly weekend cause traffic is lighter, however since the C19 started there are some occasionsional weekday rides as more people work from home.

@@PavoMTB thanks for advice man. Any other recommendations of trails around? I see you have been to quite a few different places. I have only been to mill creek, Hornsby and Deep Creek

@@benjyleung7784 No worries mate. Yeah, there are heaps of trails around Sydney. Probably best idea to have a look through couple of vids and see what you might like. Then just go to TrailForks to find their location. We rode Westleigh a lot in the past, Kentlyn is good and my favourite is Ourimbah, which is actually Central Coast already but it's definitely worth slightly longer drive.

Hey Nick, yeah these are my mates but we are actually from Sydney. Couple times a year we come for a weekend or a day trip to Canberra as you have much better trails there 🤙

@@PavoMTB i am literally 15mins away from majura and only 20 mins away from stromlo. Heaps easier where i live. But I definitely need heaps more practice haha.

@@nickol1886 I wish these were my local trails, I'm sure you'll improve your riding in exponential rate as they are both very well built. We stayed at Chisholm, which was a similar driving distance from Stromlo and Majura. We had this RSL place right across our house and they had this beautiful GOAT beer on tap. It was a perfect weekend looking forward to coming back there 😁
