Nice.. Most of our clients like the board finish.. If we do put a smooth face to it we use a product call Ardex..
@oh-bc8cr11 сағат бұрын
@@AllAccessConstruction yeah I use Ardex cp as a filler to patch walls for warehouses and use wounderfix over it then a quick sand or I use Ardex cd grey as an overlay material I always tell the customers that it’s better with the smooth finish because it’s somewhere where to tag on it or damage it you could easily repair it to make it look like nothing ever happened where the board finish with the Ardex the colors slightly off but almost the same

Hi guys, great channel, love it! Is the upper surface of the concrete wall (cast in place or from blocks) in any angle? (so water can easier flow away) or is it waterleveled with rounded edges and water just dries out?
@AllAccessConstruction13 сағат бұрын
Appreciate the comment.. It's a block wall.. I have two videos about the drainage for this project Check out our French drain playlistkzbin.info/aero/PLS6rd-97aEeJaENuceAj5OtlO_-J6C7xU&si=6oxHHnQf--9CTTYm

Very interesting, I always slow everything down as I do not miss anything. One of these days, I gotta 10 x 30 to lay out. Chances are I'll be too old to finish. But there's always hope. Thanks for your great work and effort. And props for the dedication of your crew. My hope is they can be here to continue their career as well.

Your form boards are almost always going to be not straight and they will leave gaps between the boards which are too big. You have to use tool to shave off the boards so that your gaps are 1/8 of inch or less. You can also use plastic on the inner side if you want to leave larger gaps. 3/4 inch pkywood is ideal for this work.
@AllAccessConstructionКүн бұрын
With our board forms we never came back and shave off anything nor was any gaps to big in 15years. True some boards was not straight we just used them in the back. We use 2*12s basically muscle memory. Also, lot of our clients like the board look... Appreciate the comment

Perfect height so you can build some sawhorses and have a production line going. Saves your back and bends bar about 3 times faster than a manual one and that’s with someone who’s got the skills and endurance to work at a good pace. It’s worth every penny.
