What a session, you guys have got the camera angles so wired and that sky 🤩🤩 Difficult to get barrelled on a foil, the foil height makes you too tall to get covered up unless it's massive, mmm need to find bigger waves 😉🤘

Just translated it. The 2 circles came from the reef. They are called ‘boils’ and it happens when air gets trapped in pockets of reef and then when the waves suck water out when they break, the air comes up as a boil. 🤙🏼

Doesn’t require air. The wave-ward current upstream of the moving wave face alone is enough to create those turbulences around rocks which stick out from the sea floor (representing an obstacle for above mentioned mainly horizontal current). Parts of this current are diverted upwards by the obstacle. Which becomes visible as “boils”.
