I understand this completely A to Z. Travel, medical care, household budget, etc etc etc. I loved being home alone (I worked from home for years and then retired before my husband,) so when my husband retired, he drove me bonkers! We've settled in now and we both have our own things we do. But it was a challenge in the beginning.

I find that our spare bedroom was a good idea for my hunny to work from home. Separate time is a must and I agree 100% and I’m an extravert. And I find that some medical insurance does not give extended medication so you can travel for maybe a month.

@@LifeAccordingtoMaria thank you Maria. I found one in Calgary but it's difficult for me to travel. There are some gastro doctors here in my province, I will research them. As a 67 year old , just lost my last parent…my mom with dementia. Please,please make sure his POA , healthcare surrogate, is in order. An elder lawyer helped us so much. It was VERY expensive but to get her the help we put her house in a trust ( I’m the only family left) she lost everything she saved for except her house. She had to go on Medicaid and she did not qualify , my dad was in the military she had too much money. CD;s etc. We had to wipe out every thing she owned. Less than $1500 in savings and checking. My mom hated us cleaning out anything. Not throwing out anything. Her personality changed so much. So aggressive and changed personality. So sad. She made it 5 years in long term care. I’m so very sorry for it was very tough. I’m the only one left. Bless you 🙏🏼

I am so sorry for your loss. It is so hard to watch our parents deteriorate, especially when we remember how strong and accomplished they were when young. Yes, we have Living Will, and POA set up for my Dad. I have been authorized by him to deal with all medical doctors and clinics to give me information as needed and am allowed to make medical decisions on his behalf. He has a small 1 bedroom condo and so that is his only asset, along with a 10 year old car that he is not really driving anymore. My parents unfortunately were never savers and my Mother loved to travel around the world. They never really wanted to own a house or settle in one place. Anyway, he is on Medicaid and is living soley off of his SS. 😥

My MD didn’t catch this for a year, when she finally did I was in the 500’s range on alkaline phosphate and stage three cirrhosis, I’m on the Ursidol 3X a day, at what point do you consider transplant? Thanks for your video you did a fantastic job explaining this disease!
@LifeAccordingtoMaria
@LifeAccordingtoMaria 4 ай бұрын
Thank you for the comment. I am glad that you are on the URSO. I think it takes a little while to kick in and get started, but your numbers should be going back to the normal levels pretty soon. I have read that there are chances that your liver can recover a bit and that your stage three cirrhosis might actually reverse a little bit and get better. So please don’t give up hope and start thinking about a transplant Put that out of your mind and just try to live the most healthy life. You can possibly live right now the minute I heard that there was issues with my liver. I stopped all alcohol and it’s the best decision I have made. Also try to remain on a healthy diet and stay off of the fast food route, my doctor suggested that I to the Mediterranean diet which involves healthy oils, such as olive oil and plenty of fruits and vegetables and healthy free range meat. So a little anemic so I do take iron along with some B12 and a daily vitamin. Just try to stay positive and do healthy things for yourself each day. Oh, and also make sure to get plenty of rest and also to get fresh air and exercise. I try to walk about 20 to 30 minutes outdoors every day if I can. Best of luck to you and just take it one day at a time

I also try to monitor my energy levels by not taking on too much in any given day. Slow wins the race right now. Thank you for asking and checking in on me. For you the tip is to get off all alcohol. Do what ever you can to preserve that liver. They don't just hand out replacements. :(

Try unsweetened apple sauce. Crush the pill into the apple sauce. If the medication is a capsule, then unscrew the capsule and pour the powder into the applesauce and stir. He can slurp up the applesauce, even if he can’t eat anything else good luck and hope your Rotti gets better.

Great video :) I actually had this idea myself today while at the Dollar General in town. I spotted the one with a purple label that was marked for use as a “hand soap” and decided to try it as a face wash. It worked amazingly for me! I pair it with Palmer’s Cocoa Butter lotion (the thick one in the white tub), and my skin is perfectly hydrated and glowing! I typically spend $40/per bottle to use Tatcha rice face wash in the purple bottle. Now I know that I can use this cheaper pairing when I am running low on my Tatcha products. Also, organic Jojoba oil works beautifully for moisturizing after ♥️ Happy washing! P.S. I’m almost 30 and typically only suffer from hormonal acne with combination skin :) * This cool little soap keeps my skin nice and clear! Such a great little find :) I wish I had known more about skincare and natural products when I was a teenager :) You don’t always have to spend big to attain big wins! ♥️

Disclaimer: Yes it can if you have to burn a larger mole off. Most moles that need to be burned or cut out will leave a permanent scar! I would highly suggest that you seek professional help with any removals. For one thing, they will numb the area so it won't hurt and a dermatologist will know exactly how to best remove the mole or tag without too much damage to your skin. Hope this helps.
