I'm glad you like it! The plugin is the "Dave Choir" for Decent Sampler. I couldn't find the original link for it, but I know I got it from Pianobook. Either way, I have the file in Google Drive here: drive.google.com/drive/folders/1eWjXs3we4cNXtmIU3F8f_fv2KSYP_iNR?usp=sharing Thank you!

wow, this is actually pretty good. most of the time other small creators like you have a good song, but then ruin it with some funky/off tune melody. but this is perfect, tbh i could just listen to the first part of the song by itself for a while.

maybe go to the f major and stay down there for a bit, then when you come back to that main key and melody bring in some soft strings and some simple percussion. you could try giving it a medieval feel? just a suggestion if your running out of ideas.

Try adding a section of arpeggiated chords instead of chord blocks and it will sound epic

that sounds so good Im suprised, you could do many versions of this for different context ( like in hollow knight they use the Hollow knight's theme and make several other songs with different styles with moods based on the same melody ). This one kinda sounds like a memory or a dreamy song , you could do another more epic, slower with different instruments ( add some cello, orgue, ... ). doing that could even give you ideas of new musics with the same style for whatever project you make these songs for !
@tribexen15 күн бұрын
That was my idea! I'm currently working on one that's supposed to be the main character's theme. (Which is mostly just an extended version of this with a violin) And I'm glad you like it!

Add a third more complex filler line, which you gonna add on top of the other lines, instead of the final cadence. Then find a second motive and add it after, then you just gotta play with both motives.
@rez034216 күн бұрын
Probably best to remove the end. Its probably giving you writer's block. Or shorten it and make it more emotional. Just a thought. Its really good. Good day
@Redeam.16 күн бұрын
you put there like a very strong cadence, if i was you i would make that into a deceptive cadence, maybe repeated the section witch a violin, made a part B for that and just connected that witch an intro and an outro. Hope that helps :D

I really love the collosal, ambient cave atmosphere of this one! The choir really does make the piece feel much bigger and wider, as if I am Steve inside a massive ravine in Minecraft! Also I saw you experimented with a new video format…
@tribexen27 күн бұрын
Glad you like it! As for the different format, I wanted this piece to be simpler than my other ones because I feel like I can make it a bit more eerie/ambient with fewer instruments, and because of this, I figured that I could capture everything in one track. Thank you!

Sure! If you have ANY composition, it's worth to finish it at some point. This is how we learn, grow, and do better. May I give you advise? Let it breathe a bit. If all your track intense, non of its part is. Without calm periods contrasting with aggressive you can't emphasize energy anywhere.
