The song that plays when the protagonist's friend dies

The song that plays when the main character loses someone important to him, becoming
his motivation for the rest of the story. "At the Cost of a Life"
I'm sure that if you've been here long enough, you've noticed that I use a lot of the same melodies
in nearly all of my music. The reason for this being, I've always wanted to make a game of my own
one day, (Which I'm trying to work on currently), and I wanted the music to sound recognizable.
For example, a lot of games I've played have a specific melody or set of melodies in many of their songs.
Games like Halo, Undertale, Star Wars RC a little bit of Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy.
Some of these are heavily influenced by their main themes, others just a little. I've been trying my
best to create a specific sound and feel to my music to give it that same recognizability. I want to give
my music that same feeling of nostalgia that you'd get from listening to your favorite game's music
years later. I try my hardest to make my music sound the best I can make it, and I hope I've done a
good enough job, thank you.

I'm trying to go for a story-based rpg, kind of like Final Fantasy or Chrono Trigger. I'm taking some inspiration from some of my favorite games like these.
