An orchestra of israeli and palestinian musicians led by an argentinian maestro playing a fraternity anthem composed by a german composer, in a British theatre. That’s how music should be, it should bring us together in joy against the horrors of war 🕊️🕊️🕊️

@kdevinturner8778 Ha. Lea was asked during a brief online chat during the pandemic whether she cooks and she said yes, but she was more of a baker. I am pretty sure she was a baker before the pandemic, but really got into baking bread during the pandemic. :)

Fucking KZbin barbarians - how stupid, how ignorant can you be to disturb music with fucking adds???!!! I know that youtube is a commercial enterprise and not a welfare institute, but they could place their fucking adds at the beginning of the video and not in the middle of the performance - fuck you - youtube!!

The C5 is O.K. but I am not satisfied with the quality of my voice (too lyrical should be more dramatic).

only few pieces of music come close to this, but none real is greater. SaintSaenz gave all of his passion to the 4th movement of his Organ symphonie, but never reaches the of this masterpiece. Truely the crown of a life of genius. Ode To Joy - and see the joy int the faces of the musicans. all men, women and children should feel the same at least once in their life

@neilgrossbard251111 күн бұрын
I usually sing this an octave down (naturally a deep Bass Baritone). I can sing it as written, but she is better than me. I need practice to be able to belt the high notes. I should be able to control them better,with practice, since my coach has me slide as high as I can and I get to at least E5 (have slide to F#5 and make noises at G5) Hope to equal her rendition with practice. I am known as the legend of Bebop (night club in Boston, warm up the open mic 7pm every Thursday). My anthem is My Way as the crowd goes wild as I belt the F#4, this is a dangerous song for me to sing as there is a natural break in my voice at E4 and I can crack and then have problems with the F#4).

The absolute apex of musicality & human creativity! A genius at work, reflecting the passions, the Sturm und Drang, the conflicting passions of the Romantic Era, and of course, of the prodigy himself. I wonder how the first audience would have reacted at the premiere, in 1824. Are there no historical record of the events of the premiere night?
