What an amazing story! I have a similar story with my dad and his old '71 Chevelle wagon he had when I was a young kid. I searched for 15 years for it, finally found it, but was too rusted out to buy for the price he wanted. But my dad and that wagon are the reason I am the way I am.

Awsome!!! I can relate so much to a very special 69 camaro convertible me and my father found when I was 4!!!! That was 36 years ago, my mom's gone and I have my own son now but the car remains to keep making memories with me, my dad, and son!!! That car is priceless too me and is a family member!!!

Great video and awesome story! Brought tears to my eyes multiple times. I’m so glad you got that car back in your family. I lost my dad in 2016 and I have his 64 ChevyII he bought new. He had a 55 and a 56 we wondered where they are. I had my own 55 sedan I’ve wondered where it went.

I went to alot of drag and car shows with the old man.. And ive never forgotten this this old 50s chevy..did forget the car model thow...but i will nevee forget listening to it idle and watching it lurch forward as it was in a line of old cars.. This monster had a crazy cam in it and made a awesome sound and i was just watching it as it rumbled and inching forward and imagining myself smashing the gas pedal and seeing it do what it was made to do... Kill gas and smoke tires as the young man smiles and gives the world the finger...lol 🤘😈

Kinda in the same situation, I have been looking for my dads old high school car. 1970 Chevy nova triple green non ss. So many story’s have been told about it. He thinks it’s crushed but I doubt it. He won’t contact them either. But ran into one of there family members and I said let’s go ask them. He said no don’t. Like really, I want that car back so bad it’s not even funny. I’m glad you were able to buy yours back and bring it home. And to see the look on your dad’s face was priceless.
