Realistic is slow an can be really boring, but hitting a 6 kill game is quite fun. I like the challenge of it. Its easy to bleed speed off in realistic compared to arcade battles, and harder to get it back so its important to keep your energy up as much as possible. Nicely done!

It’s not a rendering thing. It’s literally a gameplay mechanic lmfao. If an enemy isn’t in your line of sight (or more frequently your allies line of sight) and within a certain range you won’t see a name, just the plane like in GrRB. Planes within 500~m will get nameplates regardless bc the of the Awareness crew attribute

He's referring to when on sunset/sunrise maps sometimes enemy planes wont be visible when they are low or in the shadows. It's the same thing that happens with clouds.

I'm currently grinding my Japanese planes, and I love pulling this trick on enemy players; bait them into a head-on, jink to dodge their fire, then turn inside them after they pass me before they can even finish turning back around.

The Ki-44 is such an absurdly good plane. It can hang out 2.0 BR above its rating and be perfectly happy.
