You're my hero with this video, the cover had gotten so nasty!! In case it helps other folks, we had to use pliers on the four fasteners at the back bc they were so tight!

There are many use cases for this device. If you have kids, an elderly person, or some people may just want to keep the bottle in the refrigerator. Imagine trying to pour water out of a 5 gallon bottle.

Thank you!! We found water all over the floor around the toilet & thanks to your video we learned that the refill tube had come unclipped from the overflow tube and sprays out the cover. We didn't need to call a plumber!!

Not sure, from my memory you have to feel for the clamps and detach them as shown in this video. Hope you can get it open soon. 🤞

Dirt gets ingrained on the knife scratches. Use a cardboard nail file on the scratches, problem solved.

I am surprised you did not take a bottle brush to clean the inside of the drain pipe and flush it with hot water before calling the job complete. Did I miss that part ?

That would've been a good option... 👍 I actually did clean the drain with my hands (with gloves) using hot water mainly. It was easy to do since everything was already broken down when I used the baking soda & vinegar solution. Didn't record that part so I just added a caption saying to follow the same steps as cleaning the stopper.

Lol remove the stopper and get he baking soda IN the drain not on top.

Putting as much of the baking soda in the drain actually allows it to have contact with the clog which will increase the chances of it working after you complete all the steps. Removing the stopper is not mandatory, just an option.

You’ve got to pull it quite hard. Try holding it with two hands and putting your feet in the car seat to hold it in place and then yank down. I had to use all my strength to get it out lol
