Unrelated but, what’s up with those Pyrex Measuring Cups? I have yet found one that will pour its contents without spilling all over the place. I use a garden chemical measuring cup as they don’t spill everywhere.

I have the same model ultrasonic cleaner and I can fit a completely disassembled XDs 9 into the basket. I wished I bought one with a larger tank so that I could get a stripped down 1911 into the cleaner without crowding the parts. I may buy a larger one. Anyway I always use the ultrasonic cleaner after a trip to the range. Always. The ultrasonic cleaner will NOT remove copper or lead fouling from a barrel. You'll have to use the right solvent to remove the fouling then put the parts into the ultrasonic cleaner.

I watched the video on the testing of the Marines magazine for Magpul the PMAG and if these are tested the same or anything close to it the magpul Glock bags should be just fine considering their lips and if they stretch and crack etc. So I got glock and magpul for my ar9.

I'm 99% he didn't run it at all. I have this and you have to hit on/off for it to start. Especially with the de-gas. You'll hear it when it goes.
@RPista4 жыл бұрын
Old video but never saw you press the on/off button. Plugging it in doesn’t mean it’s working it just means it’s on. You’re supposed to hear an annoying buzzing sound & none of that so all you had was heat & the cleaner it’s like you put the same solution in a bucket of hot water & no ultrasonic was used lmao. Press the on button next time man. I have 2 of these ultrasonic cleaners & every part i put in it even my glasses it always leaves particles sitting at the bottom. Your dirty barrel would of guaranteed A LOT Of carbon particles & you know how we know it wasn’t on? Because the color of the water would of instantly change muddy & it’s crystal clear hhaha hope you gave it another shot sometime after & you weren’t discouraged by this but you can’t blame anyone for what happened & i know you were trying to watch out for us so we appreciate it & now we’re watching out for you.

Check out kci glock mags theyre usally a third of the price of oem and just as reliable theyre made in south Korea for use by the south Korean police and military theyre pretty much oem with out the glock logo steel lined and everything the only difference is the font used for the witness holes

I dont have a clock but a NAK9 that uses the glock mags, and the glock mags are by far the best in every way. That being said i do have some 27rd Pmags that i use and they work great, but are a bear to load and insert like you said. I shoot the the PMags when im putting them in the dirt to save the wear and tear in the glock mags. Haven't tried the ETS mags yet but will when the other's fail, heck the KC mage that came with it works great, that was surprising.
@KiefferPlant4 жыл бұрын
The original Glock mags were all polymer. Gaston designed them to kinda bow out in the mag well so the user would have to pull the mag free to replace it. When it came to America, Americans did not like that concept and Gaston added the metal insert so it would not bow in the mag well anymore and it would drop free.

Joey, if you listen to me your ultrasonic cleaner will work amazing. Because I just bought one from Harbor freight. Put as hot tap water as you can inside of it. Go out and buy simple green cleaner the purple one that’s HD. Put it in your cleaner for about 10 minutes and it’ll come out squeaky clean guarantee it!!!
@JS-qi1ou3 жыл бұрын
@Aaron Vangilder you most certainly need to dilute your solution, he says he uses hot tap water. If you just filled the entire tub with 100% cleaning solution you would almost certainly take the finish off of anything. I guess you could clean stainless steel parts like that but you definitely need to dilute it for anything you care about.

@skyofstorms5 жыл бұрын
He missed a fat point when comparing pressure when loading mags. In a reload scenario, the slide is locked to the rear which takes almost all of the experienced tension away. The only time you're going to have to shove hard is if your loading a mag with a closed slide which is not nearly as common.
@paulzietsman84434 жыл бұрын
Many shooters do not rely on the slide lock. You will also not have the slide locked to the rear when doing a tactical reload.
@anonypersona31894 жыл бұрын
In most reload scenarios you don't wait for the slide to lock back. You top off the mag whenever there's a good opportunity and whenever before you re-holster... Besides, why not pay a few $ extra and have a mag that effortlessly fits?

I have a couple of all the mags you reviewed, I use the Magpul mags exclusively for pistol matches and have never had any issue seating any mag, yes they are harder to load but if you run through as much ammo as I do you buy a loader which makes that a non issue. All of those mags are good mags I run the ets and kci mags in my pcc and have never had any issue with any of them. If you want to shit on a mag go get you a promag glock mag and experience what a bad mag is like bs nit picking quality mags.

I guess I don’t understand, if one REVIEWS a product, basically a “How To” review, it only seems logical that one follows the MANUFACTURERS directions to the “T”, simple enough. This video should be titled, “ How NOT to use” the Hornady Sonic-Cleaner. Ultimate FAIL.

No lawyer has prosecuted someone over a trigger pull weight or words on a gun and won the case. If you cite that cop who had "you're fucked." Yeah he walked.
