This is just my opinion, but why would you pay for Trijicon HD sights when they are completely useless at regular height with a RMR? I really dont understand at all. You could have just put the factory plastics on and saved $140..

400 round break in with manual assisting maybe im stupid but how is that even so with a 3k gun
@IanCaine4728

I mentioned it above, but It's because of all the match grade parts. They fit with almost no tolerance. Milks accuracy, but break-in and reliability are the sacrifice. They are really nice weapons, but the precision almost makes this a different animal than a standard Glock.

The Watcher 207 I put 500 rounds through any new gun I buy so I dont see 400 being a big deal at all.
@thewatcher2075
@thewatcher2075 7 жыл бұрын
its not the number of rounds he used its the fact he said he had to manually assist the slide into battery for it to lock up on all 400 rounds because of all the aftermarket parts that are being used but then again thats like modding a car and having to change the oil every time you start it up until the engine gets used to the oil but maybe its just me thinking that for 3 grand that gun shouldn't have a single problem out of box
@G9K1G7
@G9K1G7 7 жыл бұрын
as mentioned before... we machine these slides from blanks and we machine the compensator to fit with very tight tolerances... not to mention the match grade barrel that adds to those tolerances... and with such tight tolerances, a break in period should be expected. its not all loosey goosey like a stock Glock.

he just said thats his EEDC pistol??? What am I missing here.... I thought my brother was foolish for carrying a 1200 kimber for his EDC pistol but this guy takes the cake... 3000 EDC pistol is like driving a corvette all year long even in the winter... Can you do it sure is it smart Nope.. There is Nothing Wrong with carrying a Stock Glock as an EDC role. Be it 42 in the pocket or 26 small package with plenty of power with g17 back up mags. Or the most popular pistol g19... All can be had for 500 and work perfectly in any role... Why would anyone carry a custom in every way pistol that costs 3000?? This is foolish...
@chasecrosson
@chasecrosson 7 жыл бұрын
what does the price of the pistol have anything to do with it being a carry piece? If anything the fact that it is higher performance enhances the CCW aspect. I have seen people who carry $10k Infinity pistols.
@Airel17
@Airel17 7 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't carry anything that doesn't shoot accurately at long distances too. But 1200.00 isn't much money in a custom world most custom built guns start at 2500.00 and go up from there. And if I have a gun it's to carry and use if not what's the point of having it some fill protected at 125.00 others at 10,000.00 it's all preference. I have EDC guns that are in the 1500.00 to 2000.00 range and hope that today day isn't the day I have to defend myself with it and turn it over to the officials and struggle to get it back. But I guarantee it goes bang every time without any hiccups.

For the amount of trouble that you had building out a sight picture on that pistol, it better shoot like a rockstar.
@hoot1141
@hoot1141 7 жыл бұрын
The sight problem is a bigger problem than you're really thinking it is. Where is it hitting that makes it such an issue? Also, anyone that is serious about running a pistol is familiar with shaving down a front sight. That's pretty standard.
@davidnguyen1151

That front sight on the barrel lost me. I don't get it. Being a Glock Armorer and one of the range masters for my PD... this is not a functional / practical firearm.

Those who made it say that the fact that the front sight doesn't move back and forth gives you an opportunity to keep your eyes on the front sight.

thanks for the review. how well does the compensator work when she started opening up. How does it compare to a glock 19
@JoeyBullseye
@JoeyBullseye 7 жыл бұрын
+Michael The Great Prince a Glock 19 is not a hard gun to shoot well right out of the box, with that being said, the compensator does provide some extra stability when shooting quickly. Honestly though, I think the frame work (stippling and accelerator cuts) helps me manage the recoil more than the comp does.

A gun of that price should run straight out of the box, not after a breaking period of 500 rounds.
@chasecrosson
@chasecrosson 7 жыл бұрын
clearly you haven't shot a handgun of that price.... because if you have then you would know there is a break in period. Now some gun makers break the gun in for the new owner. Agency didn't want to shoot the gun before sending it to the customer. Guns with extremely tight tolerances have a break in period its not a big deal.
@veryhappyturtle
@veryhappyturtle 7 жыл бұрын
Maybe if you bought a decent gun, like any decent custom gun that isnt based on a cheap piece of polymer, you would realize that this is one of the only guns upwards of 1k that requires a break in period.

well.. the whole purpose of a sight tracker pistol is to be able to.... track the front sight. throwing a RMR on there kinda defeats the purpose of the sight tracker.

I think the NOC is more of a Agency Arms fan collector item than a full- blown functionality-based weapon. It looks cool, it probably runs as good as any other Glock and then some, but it would be better spent money to get a "full build" option from the Agency. All a glock needs to improve is a trigger job, sights, stippling, frame cuts and a lightly flared magwell. None of those should substitute for a person's training, but it sure makes a noticeable difference where it counts.

Ugh. Okay, I'm not trying to be a hater because I like Agency for the most part but here are my feelings on this gun: It is $3,000. That puts you in the category of VERY expensive, super high end, hand fitted handguns. This gun is a Glock 19 at its core. I own, shoot and love Glocks so there is no hate there, BUT, we need to be honest here. What does $3,000 really get you? My factory 19 needs no break in and comes with 3 Glock factory magazines for less than $500. I have the Agency trigger kit installed in it and it is a mediocre trigger. The shoe is very nice but it's not the greatest overall break especially for its price. You get a very nice stippling job except its on a Lone Wolf, 3rd party Glock replacement frame. You get a cool compensator which, although looks neat, is pretty unnecessary for what is essentially a full size 9mm. It just seems like kind of an odd thing to add to a sub-compact/ full sized 9mm striker fired pistol that isn't really intended as a competition gun and doesn't have much recoil to begin with for a defensive application. You get some beautiful slide milling that is also useful but its not designed to run an RMR. Huh? So someone is going to drop $3k on a Glock and then put a $150 Burris on it or something? I'm just not on board for this one. I'm sure if I shot one I would like it but not for anywhere close to the price. I hate to say it but it feels like a super pimped out Honda Civic - take a super reliable, no frills plateform and slap a bunch of 3rd party and somewhat useless features and claim its on the same level as a Corvette.

Every mag will drop out if its in a gun with the slide forward. The spring pressure from the mag is shooting it out. The amount of times you'll be dropping an empty mag out of a closed gun is probably slim to none. Not saying it won't drop free with the slide locked back but just making a point that I see people make the same mistake in other reviews.
@JoeyBullseye
@JoeyBullseye 7 жыл бұрын
NEPA Outdoors your statement makes a lot of sense but it is not always true. There IS a small amount of spring pressure on a closed slide, but only enough to move the magazine slightly, in some cases a magazine can STILL remain in the magwell after the pressure has been relieved. If I buy a gun it's supposed to cycle. If not they aren't machining to their coating tolerances if they want you to shoot 500 rounds to make their gun operational they should supply the ammo. If you buy a gun from any custom maker it works on round number 1 shouldn't have to push the gun into battery that's why your paying custom prices in the first place is to have the attention to detail. Think I'll pass I don't believe they are a serious custom company anyone can make something look cool with shipped in parts and assemble them. Other than that it comes packaged nice. I can't believe they expect the customer to spend 250.00 - 300.00 on ammo to make their gun work. What are you actually paying for? And then they send you to Dawson for you to figure out the sites? Nope don't think so lipstick pig. Sorry you had to go through all that to have a custom gun that they have control over quality or lack there of before shipping to customers. Many better custom builders out there bro.

Curious, what's the cost of this "custom" Glock pistol? so 400 rounds to break in? It's not ready to shoot or carry EDC out of the box? So in a sense it's not a dependable firearm out of the box due to it's breaking period, correct?
@JoeyBullseye

@joshuar.1099
@joshuar.1099 6 жыл бұрын
Actually, that's not entirely correct. Any EDC gun should be shot X amount of rounds without failure before being carried. Some say 500, some say 1000 -- I like 1000 then a couple hundred of my chosen carry load (all failure-free) before carrying. Even the best manufacturers put out lemons -- so it's prudent to do testing. I can hardly believe someone willing to spend 3000 on a NOC would have qualms about shooting at least 1000 rounds through it.

why you have to go to all that trouble and not only that paid a high price for the gun that is ridiculous expensive and not even put you original magazines on it is not worth the money to have this hybrid of a gun if you going to go for looks yes is a nice looking gun as far functional features I will go with a original glock that is reliable dependable and it's no breaking period I will pass on one of those but that's my personal intake to much money for,what it is and to much hiccups😎🇺🇸

"Men" actually believe that a compensator is needed to soften the recoil of a Glock 19? Wow, that's very sad. That's a gun I recommend to females and new shooters.
@joshuar.1099
@joshuar.1099 6 жыл бұрын
Compensators are great for +P loads -- shoots really flat and follow up shots are great. It's not meant to "soften recoil" for comfort, it's meant to keep the gun flat during long strings. New shooters don't benefit from comps and RMR's unless they have a firm grasp of the fundamentals and apply those fundamentals.

I think this is horrible, the break in period, sights and other small things were not thought of in my opinion. Charge way too much and still need to spend money doing a break in and messing with sights. Extra spring cause they dont know what your results would be. I agree with "RAZORJB". I firearm of that manufacturing status should *not* require 500 rounds before it starts cycling rounds. You should be able to pull that thing out of the box and rock -n- roll. To lightly customize what I'll refer to as an "assembly line" pistol is almost expected. But for a custom pistol to need further customization is "unexpected", to say the least. While watching this video, I kept waiting for it to be broken down for an internal show and tell. I would have liked to have seen that.

Nice video!! I think you got SCREWED by Agency if they are changing the type of front sight base they should have the same at the rear. Agency makes their own slides so they can Cut the rear sight dovetail to what ever they want and not something that a customer should be made to go thru. For as expensive as Agency the sights should have been able to have you send the slide in for the sight that you wanted SPECIALLY with the rear sight not being able to clear the battle plate. I have several custom pistols that have cost have cost at least what a NOC cost if not a bit more. Agency should take the barrel that you have scratched and send you a new one with the Trijicon HD front sight on it. I have been looking at Agency and specially the NOC but for what I seen on my own plus a couple of other postings online on social media I think I am going to go with STI for a carry comp pistol or get 2 Sig Legions or 3 Gen 4s plus accessories for the Glocks and I think I will still be able to take my wife on a romantic dinner to a nice steak house we go too.

This isn't a basic pistol and the average shooter/collector will not ever know the full potential of it . This is the perfect EDC pistol in my opinion compact and compensated and from what Ive seen it works like a charm slow mo video shows it all. 3k is fucking crazy tho but if I ever had that kind of flow I would buy one forsure.
