Got my theory test tmr after watching this video I feel very confident, quick question tho I recall u saying how you only click for vehicles, pedestrians and animals as ‘developing hazards’ so if there are signs for example to lower speed etc would that not count as a hazard since it’s not obv developing

This might actually have saved my confidence, same story as others, learned in a new diesel fiesta with hill start assist etc. was taught specifically to do clutch all the way until car started moving with worked beautifully in her car. Now driving a 2005 petrol beetle at just stalling for fun. Trying to get the hang of reversing into my narrow driveway from a busy road and when reversing over the tiny bump of a curb I stall over and over and then feel like I’m keeping everyone waiting and keep stalling at traffic lights and give ways. Asking everyone I know for advice and they all just say “you’ll get used to it” or “every car is different” but me explanations about how to actually fix the issue so thank you so much for a very comprehensive lesson. Can’t wait to give it a go so I can get my confidence back!

I failed my test today because I stayed behind a bus letting off people when I could have overtaken. I felt that as people were getting off the bus and may pass out in front of the bus and that it was safer to wait until the bus had moved on. This was considered a 'serious' fault, which I feel is a little harsh. What are your thoughts on this?

I think Signal should be standard even when nobody is around so that its a natural thing... also what if you didnt see anyone and by signalling that person stays well safe behind the vehicle.

We need this in Australia Also we need the UK Keep left Blue arrow here in Australia. Ours is way too American :( Because we didn't sign the Vienna convention on vehicle traffic rules.. Do you know much about our crossings? Do you know about our famous Crossing sound. And the crossing 🚸 in general? PB/5 CROSSING signal? I want lollipop lights here... We also have zebra crossings and very much like the UK in all other respects. Thanks mate!

7:22 I’m sure the Highway Code states that you must give way to pedestrians who are crossing a road into which you are turning into and also turning out from though?

Right can anyone tell me the answer to this question? I took my test in 1982. And I was told that if the lights are on red and nobody is near or around then as I was advised at that time is that you don’t have to stop. Only if someone is near or approaching the crossing. I know that was a good while ago. I must add. This is if the lights are on red. ?

I have a very difficult question that I cannot find the answer to. If there are a line of 10 parked buses, each parked without gaps between them, can I overtake them if I will likely get to the final bus before meeting an oncoming car or should I wait for that oncoming car? The reason I ask is that if I overtake, then traffic, on the whole, will only be delayed for the length of time it takes me to overtake the single final bus while the oncoming car waits. Compared to if I wait for oncoming car then traffic will be delayed, on the whole, for the length of time it takes to pass 19 parked buses. Because at time I stop at the first parked bus, I will need wait for the oncoming car to travel the length of 9 buses away from the parked bus nearest them (the final bus furthest from me). Then they will pass the 10 buses while I also wait. 9+10=19. Therefore traffic is delayed 19 times more overall if follow the rule to give priority to oncoming traffic. Personally I am fine with that if that is the most Highway Code compliant thing to do even though it may confuse drivers behind me if I wait. But I need to know are my being silly or is it best to follow the rule strictly and this is just an edge case
