We have customers doing this. Please note the Bolt is not HDCP compliant so it will not support sources that require HDCP, which are typically protected content like Blu-ray players, cable set top boxes, etc...

I’m unable to use the RED RCP2 Wired Control with the Teradek TX Module-it keeps showing ‘Connection to Camera Failed.’ Interestingly, it works fine when I use the SMALL HD Adapter instead. Could this issue be because the promised RED support for this feature is still ‘coming soon’ even after three years?

Nice work Colin! This is the kind of video that would absolutely help people to figure out how to pair. If you don’t mind, I have some suggestions - Maybe a short video explaining Auto, DFS, and Fixed Frequency, along with some best practices for each? I find talking people through changing and coordinating their fixed frequencies can get confusing, and I’d love to have an official video as a reference for rental clients! Also, will you be publishing similar instructional videos for your Ranger line? I know internally it’s a different department but it would be helpful in the rental world to have similar walkthroughs for your Ranger products! Thanks!

In comparison, H264 is significantly better than H265, as you can clearly see, and H264 also has a much smaller file size with much better picture quality.

this thing sucks. no menus, no way to choose frequencies, etc. stupid. My lumix cameras automatically get downscaled to 1080p if I dont pass the signal through a field monitor first. just sucks I have no options here. I didn't even order this. I wanted the Bolt and they sent me the Ace. (BHphoto)

Bit Depth does matter. Just watch Mandalorian Season 1 as to why 8bit can suck (banding in several shots). HEVC offers 10 and 12-bit (and 16-bit 444 with the right encoder) right now. AVC goes up to 10 bit. Also one comment below mentions 720p and 2160p, that's spatial resolution. I can make a 10bit AVC at 4Mbps look like an 10bit HEVC at 1Mbps with the right content. So bad analogy.

Hey, i know this video is kinda old but i've been using this controller and i don't know how to flip the lens mapping as i pull the focus the other way as usual: for me, turning the knob close to me means that the lens goes to the CF direction.
