People complain too much about Wizkid, since 2016 I have been hearing he is washed, SFTO, they said he has nothing to offer anymore. I think we all just got used to Wizkid sound when ever lines like “I go give you” “baby make I” it sounds the same and when another artist use these lines it’s normal 😂, everyone wants Wizkid to immediately top his standards on a new Wizkid track first listen, Wizkid lines and sounds have been recycled and mastered by a lot artists today. And I hear a lot of people saying Wizkid doesn’t have a hit in four years… Was IDK, Frames, Ololufe, Mood, Bad to me are these songs jokes to you. Every song doesn’t have to be as big as essence. Same essence y’all didn’t enjoy at first listen. And yes Wizkid can sound lazy on some songs but stop listening to Wizkid songs with a negative energy. He has done well and he still has a lot to give.

Omah has a lot of international fans especially in Europe and due to his unique style of mellow/emotional Afrobeats, his listeners are very loyal just like Asake’s meaning they’re likely to tune into every release not just the major singles. He also has 10m monthly listeners on Spotify which is currently more than Asake’s (who has 7m) despite Asake having released an album recently.
