Definitely the greatest middle distance horse I have ever seen. An electrifying turn of pace and extremely high cruising speed. Nothing could touch him and a travesty he lost the Derby with atrocious jockeyship.

He's the best racehorse that I have seen in over 40 years of racing . The Arc he won going away in 1986 , had something like 11 or 12 Group 1 winners in the field that day ..some multiple Group1 winners , unbeaten. The electric burst of pace he injected into the last furlong was faster than Frankel's first furlong in his brilliant 2000 guineas win , where he went 10 lengths clear ...that's how good Dancing Brave was ! Greville Starkey , the original jockey was asked pre derby about the qualities of Dancing Brave ? He replied ; " my horse is bombproof " and " will stay 6 miles if required " ! No other jockey in history has ever been so forthright or ebullient in front of a camera before ...EVER !

Im a bit biased but i think the best rendition was at the MCG in Melbourne Australia when Liverpool played there . Cant remember how big the crowd was but it was way over 80 000 - all singing . It was incredibly loud .

Arazi was the greatest 2yr old performance i had ever seen. Never ran on dirt & was in stall 14 & gave the American talk horse Bertrando 12 lengths easy lead but the last half mile Arazi ran through the feild like they were tied to a pole & was pulled up a furlong out to win by 5 lengths he embarrassed the best the US had, winning 7 from 7 as a 2yr old BUT sadly was NEVER the same at 3yr old.
