Kimberly, excuse me, I wanted to ask you why you ignore glasses? Glasses suit your face very well, but contacts only dry out your eyes and my lenses always leave pus on my pupils no matter how much I wash them or put drops of solution to prevent this. It also seems to me that you don’t like them and of course it’s always better and safer to wear glasses. Or maybe this is only for when you apply eyeshadow to your eyelashes, eyelids and eyebrows?

@@vadimshink9257 I just prefer contacts. I like my glasses but prefer contacts. I don’t have those issues u have with mine. I’ve been wearing contacts since I was 16. I love them. And yes it’s easier to do makeup and wear lashes without glasses

The lowers are always a pain to keep anchored. Keep trying the overwhelming things available for adhesives. Hopefully you will find one that works FOR YOU.

Had mine out Monday morning, tops only, seen the dentist 3 days in a row fixing pinch points and soft relines, at day 3 1/2 I’m eating meatloaf, small bites n chewing slow, I’m 70 yrs old n having no problems at all. Every time I see folks having all these problems, I just count my blessings

@@barbpsyk8280 what I was told is getting partials only prevents the inedible. I was told getting dentures was the best option bc eventually I would have needed them anyway. Hope that helps

Hi honey I just came across your channel. I've worked in the dental lab field for 30 years and I just wanted to tell you that 90% of the time lower dentures do not stay in place because there's no suction like with the top. Sometimes a few adjustments and shortening the flange can help. You are talking very well though for just getting them. You didn't do anything wrong eating or drinking ahead of time will not affect the fit of your lower. Most likely what has happened is some of the swelling has gone down so now there's room and the denture is shifting. Just try to tolerate it for a little while until you heal more and then it would be safe to use fixadent or poligrip. Just give yourself some time to navigate them. Glad I came across your channel

I had an incident in a school playground where my seesaw partner jumped off. I hit the ground and face planted the handle bar. Broke my nose and shattered my top teeth. Lived my whole life with messed up top teeth. At 56, I finally got upper dentures. 1 week tomorrow. Go girl!

As soon as your teeth are extracted, as you heal, your swollen. Your immediate will get looser due to swelling reducing. Once you get your permanent dentures, they should fit better. Remember, you and your brain need time and practice with your new teeth. You are wearing a foreign object in your mouth and you need time and practice to get used to them. You are beautiful and so are your teeth!!! My husband got dentures in his thirties. My daughter did as well. They both spent a small fortune on their teeth and still ended up in dentures!!! I’m 58 and I am tired of spending so much money and my teeth are they not great or pretty any more. I’m getting dentures this month on the top and lower about 3 months later… Excited and nervous 😂 Love your videos!!!

@@cindeeacker5415 it just gets so expensive and with today’s prices no can afford to keep paying for it and so it’s better to just get dentures instead of continuing to fight the inevitable, I was more nervous about what the teeth would look like. I wasn’t so nervous about the procedure but looking back on it I should’ve been more nervous bc the dentist screwed me

I got my teeth pulled July 2nd Don't get my dentures till the 24th but going on the 23rd for the impressions did that part make you gag I usually have a bad gag reflex so I'm a little nervous about that part but at the same time excited

@@MarieBarber-j1h yeah that was the worst part. I usually don’t have a bad gag reflux, but that stuff they put in your mouth they do your impressions made me gag really bad. It feels gross and it’s just weird.

Look into getting dental implants. They are more expensive, but they are as good as real teeth and with proper care will last a long time.

@@Lifestyleandlove46 Before I got implants, I had the same problem with dentures. Tell your dentist about it, he or she might be able to do something about it. In my case, it turned out I wasn't putting the bottom ones in deeply enough, which took some adjusting, but I finally got it. If they just don't fit properly, your dentist can adjust them a little. I agree that dentures are no fun when they pop up like that, but once you get the hang of it (it can take awhile), they should stop doing that. Good luck!

I mean the sad part is it takes a lot of courage for people to get on social media and talk about having dentures and having your teeth pulled out even if you’re 16 2130 4050 it’s not easy going on media and talking about this, but we do help other people and then you have That look down upon you for getting dentures and it’s like I don’t understand why it bothers these people so much.
