Wow! You look great! You are talking well too. I've had dentures for about three years. I get relines once or twice a year (I can't remember). I have Medi-Cal (California Medicaid) and they pay for my dental. I use Super Poligrip Free on the top and Cushion Grip and Super Poligrip Free on the bottom. My teeth stay in for about eight hours. I don't know if your denture package includes relines and adjustment, but I would definitely try to get those sore spots taken care of. When I first got my dentures, my sore spots were awful. I had to keep my teeth out for a few weeks and do salt water rinses throughout the day while they healed. Good luck!

@@susanc.3771 thank you so much ☺️🌹 Medicaid covers them but the problem is that the dentist office I used doesn’t want to adjust them. They said they only do 3 adjustments and so I’m just stuck dealing with the pain and my bottom denture scratching my gums raw.

Look into getting dental implants. They are more expensive, but they are as good as real teeth and with proper care will last a long time.

@@simplechronology2605 they are very expensive, some things about regular dentures are super annoying like the bottom plate constantly popping up. I hate that so much

@@Lifestyleandlove46 Before I got implants, I had the same problem with dentures. Tell your dentist about it, he or she might be able to do something about it. In my case, it turned out I wasn't putting the bottom ones in deeply enough, which took some adjusting, but I finally got it. If they just don't fit properly, your dentist can adjust them a little. I agree that dentures are no fun when they pop up like that, but once you get the hang of it (it can take awhile), they should stop doing that. Good luck!

I was scared to in the beginning and then afterwards I was regretting everything. I was so miserable after everything was done. I couldn’t eat anything. My mouth was in so much pain. I hated the dentist sitting on my raw gums. I was so hungry. I lost so much weight. Like the beginning is miserable.. sorry just trying to be honest with you. Not a whole lot of people on here. Tell you about any of that.

First off they haven't detracted from your beauty and i mean that..Your denture no longer fits. you should wait a few months after extractions before getting your denture remade. You need to get it remade as it needs to mirror the top of your mouth exactly(or bottom), money money. It will get better. you will get used to all the different weirdness your mouth will toughen up and you'll be able to eat more foods., friction soars are a sign of misfit. Unless you have implants for anchors give up on the thought of eating with them there mot made for eating they are made for aesthetics they never tell anyone that. hang in there beautiful .

@@drkrskyz2291 I’m eating and I can eat anything I want at this point. The problem is exactly what you said it was, I have improperly fitted lower dentures. They didn’t make them correctly and so I have so many issues with them and then on top of that my dentist office said they only do 3 adjustments and they won’t do anymore than that and so I’m stuck dealing with these painful bottoms. They scratched up my gum two days ago and so today I’m not wearing them because my gum hurts really bad

I been wearing Denture since 2000 top and Bottom you have to be Patient you will get use to them Just be Patient Its Hard but you will get use to them Its a Pain in the Butt . I know what your going through
