I think you missed the entire point about Volatile variables. You didn't mention anything about them changing outside of the compiler's "view" and so to NOT optimise them. That's the point.

Are you able to run TradingView scripts to execute trades on your TopStep account?

tradingview scripts on any platform are for back testing purposes and can’t be used to actually execute trades.

Actually I have used TV scripts to trade crypto. Using 3rd parties like 3Commas or Wunderbit(? Can't remember the name exactly). I've only just got into futures, so need to play/research to see if possible to do the same.

in general as long as you have data you can always write code for these indicators in Python and combine it with simple buy/Sells via the Python library.

I’ve done predominantly software engineering and have realized embedded software engineering is the exact field for me. I need the tactile and immediate sense of utility working with hardware and software.

I start Coding when i was 16, just with java and python basics (variables, arrays, functions) and some html and css until i reach 18 i join CS degree, the program was old but it help me in the first year ( i learn C, VB, SQL and some PHP) and in the same time i start learning by myself i master python and i dive deeper into C (data structures, memory management and problem solving), electronics basics and some backend development with django. But in the second year (i was 19) i have some issues and i lost my passion for everything i fail in school and i waste a lot of time (probably 10months). Now i’m close to 20 and just i’m starting recovery and i’m on my way to rebuild my self like my old one

I guess it depends on what MCU you're working with. For ESP chips, for example, there are standalone compiler and debugging tool which you can use in whatever environment you want

Im doing a second bs in computer engineering at 24 and im transitioning from my first bachelors in IT focused in web development and I've been a little on edge with AI replacing programming alot of ex google belive it will but i feel like they are talking about high level programming while firmware and embbeded software have lots of hardware interaction. problemwith embedded, while it is very cool career, you have limited companies that has embedded work hence job is scarce, if you find one skill requirement is very high sadly while it sucks at least on the enterprise most are web/backend related work

hi! thank you so much for these amazing videos. question: i am a mechanical engineer recently graduate and going for a mechatronics Msc degree this fall. i am really interested in the design of electromechanical systems, so i am more into the hardware side of things. what are some roles that you would advice me to look into? I am ok with writing software but would rather avoid it and focus on the pcb design/electromechanical integration but i am not sure if such role/position exists. in particular, i would love to work on aerospace/automotive/marine industries (in that order). thanks!!

You are right about non residents not finding jobs in USA as a embedded software engineer, I have 3 years of work experience working for avionics, but can’t get a job due to export control restrictions, now I’m learning AUTOSAR to try and find jobs, still it’s really hard in this market
