Mannlicher stocks of which these use the sling swivel and nose piece exact copies, are from Austrian Mannlicher traditional rifles not German. I have the 10/22 which I like, but compared to my 67 10/22, the building materials and fit are substandard in my experience.

I have looked for 32 magnums for more than two years here in the People’s Republic of New Jersey, and even the large box stores don’t have the ammo. Online you’re lucky to find it for $1 per round. Add to that how difficult Jersey makes it for law-abiding citizens to purchase a handgun, and it means that I’m just spinning my wheels.

You need to do this treatment on the old "hump-back" Bodyguard J frames...being able to single-action a long range target is a Thing..... 35 to 50 yds? And three inch barrel versions, too! 😊

Man, I wish they would re-release the Bisley Super Blackhawk with the engraved unfluted cylinder in .41 mag. I’ve lost two on GunBroker. I want one so bad but they go for thousands. I am also hopeful for a Ruger 1894 stainless in .41 magnum!

I'd like to see a Super Black Hawk in 41 Magnum with the steel grip frame and the low wide hammer. Offerings should be the 7 1/2 inch and 10 1/2 barrels with the Dragoon trigger guard and unfluted cylinder and the 5 1/2 inch Super Black Hawk with the round trigger guard and fluted cylinder. A little refinement in the polishing would be welcome too.

I agree that the 41 has lower recoil than a 44. I own several Smith and Wesson 57s. I would have preferred the large frame. This will be worth a look.

I bought a 45 Colt /45acp convertible but sold it because the flat seated Bisley hammer was too hard to thumb cock with one hand ,regular Blackhawk hammer is almost cocked at flat position.

I normally like about 90% of your offerings and been shooting revolvers for half a century or a bit more lol... I think it is fair to compare the 41 mag in an apples to apples kind of way. First.. I have shot more than a few 41 mags and most all were N frame Smiths. let's put three N frames on the shooting bench for folks to try...First would be a model 27 in .357 The original that took every game animal in the world including the 'big five' Then there would be the 41 mag N frame (forget the model #) and last would be the model 29/629 Been shooting and casting bullets for and now coating bullets for the 29/629 since the mid 70's It has a bit of a...'kick' Even in the Ruger SBH which I put 50k? rounds through in 20 years. Soooo the .357 N frame.. LOL with the nastiest loads it is a pussycat for recoil... and last.. the 41 mag N frame. With factory loads it is less recoil than the 44 mag by a pretty significant amount but those used to a .357 N frame may find it a bit much Soo where does that leave us? My carry gun is a 340 PD in .357 fits in front pocket of jeans... 12Oz the nastiest kicker ever! But who cares? not a plinker...serious defense gun. K frame .357? kinda sorta pleasant to shoot for most.. handy.. Ruger BH.. sorta pleasant to shoot Colt mid frame like Python/Trooper.. I like shooting both of mine.. some think it a bit harsh with my cast and coated 158 gr bullets. Move to the .41 mag. Except for this new offering? they are all chambered in the same guns only as 44mag. No K frame.. No mid size BH (till now) no '41 spl' 44 mag... To be honest? the 29 was a tad weak for this caliber and Smith improved that with the 629 which I think is plenty strong. Strong as my Dan Wesson? naa but good enough for the girls I go out with. hunting/dangerous game Two different things. Like the 340 PD Smith makes a scandium 44 mag N frame. I can only imagine the recoil lol.. but.. it is not a hunters gun.. it is however a backpackers bear gun. When the choice is a sore hand or being mauled to death? No 41 mag offering. Ruger... I will not buy another Ruger unless it came from you guys or some other custom maker Not gonna explain why but assume you know what I am talking about. Lever guns.... the .357 becomes a beast. as does the 44 mag but... 'significant' recoil in the 44 mag ...the .357 is really.... almost no recoil.. hot loads feel like plinking loads 1900 fps is not out of the question.. Sooo .357 lever gun and .357 K frame or Colt holster gun... PERFECT .... IN...... MY.... OPINION.. The 41 mag is still a semi useful orphan .... made a bit more useful thanks to you guys. if (and that is a big if) a major lever gun company like Henry came out with a 41 lever gun? If (and that is a big if) a major ammo maker like Remington came out with a 41 special round? If.. really big if... Smith made a Scandium 41 mag N frame... I admit to being biased... I don't want a bunch of 41 mag brass getting mixed in with other calibers on the loading bench... So 41 mag has to be pretty special for me to even consider. and? it is not. But.. as always... your ... mileage... may....vary

Unfortunately a great concept has been undermined by sub-par QC on part of S&W. My 432 UC arrived with a loose set screw on the sight and a frame lug which was out of tolerance to the extent that it wouldn't keep the slide from coming back. I would think twice about purchasing one. I love the concept but S&W really dropped the ball on this. Do your research before your purchase. You will likely end up having to send your UC 432 back.

THANK YOU JASON!!!! More awesome Bisleys! Only wish it had the cool unfluted cylinder! But maybe thats how Ruger differentiates the larger frame window cylinders from the smaller frame cylinders! Please see if you can loosen up the production line for more of the 6.5" 454 Casull's!!! I missed the last run!!!😊

Those are some nice looking pistols. I always preferred the bisley grip over the sbh. Not to mention that squared trigger guard. These are pretty tempting. But I'm not sure I want to start loading another caliber.

If it's any consolation, it's a very easy cartridge to load for and I've found used guns are more reasonable because non handloaders don't want it. Their loss is our gain!

@robertotto5811 Yes, the cost of another set of dies is really insignificant compared to the savings you are generating, set aside the enjoyment of shooting something a bit different and unique.

Nearly. Not Quite. Approaches. Just above. Amost. Barely. In-between. THE GREATEST CALIBER, EVER?????? I have shot it. I do like it. I have hand-gun hunted since 1972. Would I use it, IF IT WAS POPULARLY/AFFORDABLY SUPPORTED BY ammo available to non-hand loaders. Yep. But the majority has voted. .357 sits on top of that hill. Squeal.

Had Elmer Keith had strong .45 Colt brass to work with back in the day, there's a chance .44 magnum wouldn't even exist, and 41 magnum might have achieved the status of modern 44 mag.

There are several different manufacturers that have made .41 magnums over the years.. S & W made the 57, 657 and the 58. Charter arms made a model 74210 which was discontinued after a few years. Someone who had the Charter Arms said that it was uncomfortable to shoot. Taurus made a 41 Magnum. Ruger makes the .41in the Blackhawk. Ruger made the .41in a RedHawk for a couple years and they are considered rare. United Sporting Arms (US Arms) who is no longer around made the Single action Seville, in 41magnum. US Arms was making their guns in Tombstone, and then moved their operation to Tucson and it was sold and a company who moved it to the NorthEast and they went out of business. The US Arms frame was more stout than the BlackHawk. It was comparable to the Super BlsackHawk. All of their Large Caliber pistols were made on the same frame. I heard US Arms, got sued by Ruger, due to the transfer bar system that they were using and they had financial difficulties. US Arms, made their pistols in both Blue and Stainless. I just read not too log ago that Dirty Harry was supposed to use a .41 Magnum. Imagine how popular the .41 would have been. It have outsold the .44 magnum and would have been almost impossible to buy at the time.
