I actually want to visit kalimpong this dec end but now I want to explore all these locations in pedong too.... But I can't ride a bike.. how can I visit? Is it possible to book a bike ride there?

@@suzi_eee Hiring a bike ride is not possible here...but hiking is an option. If u want to hitch a ride on a bike..then getting hold of someone who could help you get a rider friend through a friend ...something like that can be done...if possible...

It is a relatively easy find, the route starts right by the main road so... I am posting a link to the video below.... And yes...it can easily be covered in a single day... I visited Pedong in 2018 for the first time and I was memserised. The last hills separating WB and Sikkim. The drive form Kalimpong to Pedong Bazaar was beautiful. I remember walking the forest trails going downhill from Pedong top, having bath in a mountain stream bordering WB and Sikkim, was cold but amazing. Your amazing production quality of these videos, is making me wish I can now drive to there and spend a few days soaking the beauty and hospitality of the people there. <3

Before there was a huge tree where the yatayat temporary permit board was located...in my last visit in Oct 9, 24 the tree was cut off and we had a hard time in locating the counter

We went to this resort (Silk route retreat) in 2014. It was a family vacation. All of us enjoyed every bit of the trip. Every moment of it. The food, rooms will all the amenities were satisfactory. My parents still talk about their hospitality. Wishing you all the best. Love from Bangladesh.
