As we saw, paper was a good part of their problem in addition to pyramiding. I tell my customers to stop buying the expensive RV and marine TP and use what they want...then put it in a special small trash can rather than putting down the toilet. This is the way most boaters do it to prevent clogs. Some say that's too gross, and they couldn't ever do that. To that I say just call me for another unclog at time and a half next time it occurs.
@hillbillyrv2 күн бұрын
My mom and dad haven’t put paper in their toilet for 50 years.
@Robnord12 күн бұрын
Yuk! I have a method that does not require cutting the 3" pipe. 1. Fill 2 five gallon buckets with very hot water. Dump as much as will go down into the toilet. 2.Make a 'whip' of 4' of 3/8" Pex joined to 6' of 1/2" Pex, joined to a garden hose with a shut off valve. 3.While the hot water is softening the pyramid, ram your special 'whip' tool all the way down into the tank repeatedly. Open the hose valve when you think it's broken up. 4. Do 2 or 3 fill and rinses of tank. This method has not failed me even one time. It even works when the fancy pressure washer drain cleaning tools fail. Like a secret weapon. The only time I ever have to cut the 3" pipe to the tank is when the floor flange needs replacement or I'm having to drop the tank.

That sounds effective.

My water heater wont light anymore. Just completely stopped one morning and I couldn't figure out why. I switched to my revisor water tank and heater. When I did that, the water heater turned back on, but ONLY when I had those 2 turned on. I get no error code and I can't find anyone or anything that can help me with what's going on. My eco reset doesn't even let me push it in, there's no click on it.

@@hillbillyrvso the reset button got the power back on, and less than an hour later it tripped again and it’s back without power. For good measure I reset it one more time, and it tripped a second time. The vent cap has sealant on the screws so i can’t easily remove the cap to triple check for blockage in the exhaust. I am going to get a new thermo fuse and replace it, hoping that it has just gone bad.

@lorenrickey54814 күн бұрын
Mine was 12 vdc. You will need to do your own research. Check the circuit breaker panel and see if the furnace is protected by 120 vac breaker or a 12 vdc fuse.
@hillbillyrv4 күн бұрын
12 volt only.

As a commercial heating guy, not rvs. That short initial flame then drop out is either a flame sensor failing or a cross over not lined up/plugged. Ive seen low gas pressure show similar symptoms too.
@hillbillyrv4 күн бұрын
RVs don’t use an optic flame sensor and I have no idea what a crossover is.

I don't think the customer made a good choice on this one. Should have told you to take it home and check orifice, electrode, and burner. That flame sense issue resulting in a 3 second burn was real and will most likely happen again.
@hillbillyrv4 күн бұрын
It was not my call.
@Robnord12 күн бұрын
@@hillbillyrv I'm aware of that. That's why I said *the customer* made a poor choice, not you. I always take a look at the burner and blow out the heat exchanger like Suburban says to at time of service...unless the customer insists on a quick fix without it. Thanks for the video
