Personally when I’m riding I like to go slow and take in the scenery. What is the point of blasting through the countryside and missing 1/2 the scenery plus raising the risk factor and wear and tear… now if you are getting your adrenaline fix, that’s a different story…

If it is a bitumen road the heat does the road wonders, you will find the trucks and other heavy vehicles leave tracks, you need the rain we are having here in Queensland yesterday I measured 150mm this morning at 9am 6inches old scale I am glad we live in the hinterland so if we flood Brisbane will be underwater lol

I bought a 2018 Can Am Spyder F3 Touring on 09/03/24. It had 6600 miles on it when I bought it. Within two months I get a notice about a recall on the output shaft. No mention about the pulley. I called the dealer where I bought it and they said there is no solution for the recall. They said they would call me when a solution was provided. anyone else having a problem with the output shaft? Anyone get theirs replaced under the recall? Let me know.

I own a 2012 Can Am Spyder RT Ltd which I bought used. It is a V twin with the 5-speed semi automatic transmission. I live in Australia and I have only had one problem with my bike since I bought it; the original battery died (no one could explain why) after contacting the dealer I bought what I was told was the appropriate battery. However that turned out to be incorrect and the new battery kept draining so after contacting another person who services Spyders I got a replacement and things have gone well since. I expect service costs to be high because there are so many plastic panels to remove before the mechanic can even get to the part that is the problem. A simple battery replacement (the first time I did it myself) took a long time and there were lots of screws to undo. They are a great ride - I feel much safer than on a two-wheeler and I enjoy riding mine.

I just bought a 2024 Spider F3 Limited Drove it home 40 miles and got a suspension fault and the rear air bag dropped. You would think after $32K that you could at least get the damned thing home.

Congratulations on the new house. Watching your videos makes me jealous now because my F3S is down for the count for now at least. The oil pump stopped working and the 10 miles I had to limp it along was enough to damage something in the engine. The dealer replaced the oil pump, but it is making a bad noise now, so I am without my spyder and going through withdrawels after going from riding it to work daily to not at all. I'm still not sure what I am going to do with it or how to proceed just yet. My wife wanted to take it to San Antonio for the weekend this month, but we won't be able to now and we're both bummed. For now I will get my Spyder fix from your videos so keep them coming. You moved closer to the road I always thought would be a good ride. I've always thought River road between New Braunfels and Canyon Lake would be a nice road to ride. It winds its way next to the river. It's not a fast ride, but a scenic one. You should give it a go.

Congratulations on the new home. No heat issues with my IPhone, even though it stays in a glove box at times. I'd say just keep on the handlebars for best cooling. No to polarized lenses, can't see dash at times. I use my blue light progressives and inner helmet visor successfully. Have a great day and ride safe.

I hope the new phone handles the heat better. I will try not charging it in the heat of the day to see if that helps, too. I need to get new sun glasses. i don't like not seeing the road and the dipps. Thank you for watching. We will need to meet up this spring before the heat of the summer.

how are the roads that bad down there? Do they just not do anything with them at all for years?

It has to do with the soil and how dry it gets. It plays hell on the roads and the foundation to your house.

I have a Can Am Ryker , you think the roads are bad there , you should come to Puerto Rico. There some back roads and little bridges that have been damaged since Hurricane Fiona. Also they have pit holes that have blown up my front right tire on my Kia Soul. Never mind the F150 Ford Trucks that run you off the road and My Ryker i mud flap comes off on the drop! So be great full. W. Michael Pinket
