Awesome scenery mate, for the rides down under I stop about every two hours one to rest up a bit from the heat and two to have a good drink of H2O, as a rule, it also pays to wear a good jacket and trousers suitable for riding as well even though it feels hot and uncomfortable but once you are moving it stops you getting burnt by the sun ☀️ and 💨.

Such an awesome road! Wow! As to the phone, it may be hotter in the glove box, but the material you mentioned may mitigate that heat. If it works, let us know.

Good to see you have found nice roads in TX. Here outside Atlanta there isn't anything good that's close by like what I had in TN. Maybe that's why I'm not riding so much or making videos. I enjoyed your ride a great deal and look forward to more of the same. Ryde safe buddy!

When I ride in hot weather, I put a bag of frozen ice in an insulated, zippered grocery bag. Poke holes in the ice bag, Place the grocery bag in a hard bag on the bike...Place a small plastic cup in the bag. Start your ride, let the ice melt. when you stop to take a break, scoop some cold ice water in the cup and douse yourself repeatedly with cold water. Be sure to hydrate also. When you continue your ride, it will feel like an AC blowing on you. I have used this trick for years; I call it the "bird bath". 😎

I have a Samsung Galaxy and Cardo Freecom 2X. I've noticed pairing my F3-T with both does keep the volume much lower than if I pair the two without the Spyder. Ocassionly there are issues with connectivity with the Cardo and Spyder. The main reason I do keep them connected, is the caller ID to the Sypder. I can see who is calling on the instrument panel. Can't do that if all three aren't connected. I keep the phone charged in the glove box and haven't had an issue with overheating yet. I've been in 100'+ temps. There is a battery saver function on the phone that may help you with overheating. It charges it to 80% to avoid battery damage. I use the Sygic app in BRP instrument panel for GPS, noticed it's not great, it would loose signal in the mountains and far out desert area, but to be fair, haven't downloaded offline maps yet either. Having a hydration pack is great. Last year I rode around in Central Valley California in the End of August, high temps and rode all day! Loved it! They say music tames the savage beast! 😆 Nice road, great Ryde!👍🏻

Maybe you need to install the power bar like I have , gives you the option of usb or 12v . Then you don’t have to put it in glove box which does get very hot, plus can’t use your phone if it’s in there! Ride safe, regards Stephen Alberta Canada.
