hey bubba i got a 05 duramax and all i have is 5in exhaust with 10in tip erg delete efi live and cai and i was wondering everthing you got in there because mine isnt anywhere near yours thanks.

I don't have this truck anymore, however I had cold air intake, EFI Live through Duramaxtuner.com, and I had a smoke and lope tune hence being able to smoke so much. On my race tune that was 270 horse over stock to the rear wheels after the turbo lit all the smoke cleared up. I also had a PPE stage 6 trans in it to keep from blowing the trans after I grenaded the allison. Since yours is an 05 talk to your tuner about a smoke and lope tune but be careful because it is hard on the engine, but you have a variable vane turbo so with a smoke tune you could roll smoke for as long as you wanted. And two be careful because police don't take kindly to it lol.

Oh yeah I had upgraded fuel lines, air dog 2 165 gph and various other things as well. But with nine being an 03 I didn't have to remove any emissions crap I just had a 4 inch straight pipe. I wanted to go up to 5 before I got rid of it because my egts were getting too hot with the power I was pushing.

+Jay Smotherman (Jaysmo13) thanks for the info and yeah im thinking about hitting up that duramax tuner guy that you used and see what he can do for me and i did the same with the 4in and my buddy told toe grab a 5in so i did and my egt's almost drop 200 degrees and damn thats a shame you dont have it anymore

+john ruiz Yeah the 5 just lowers the egts a lot quicker. On my smoke tune with 4 inch exhaust if I stayed on the throttle too long it would hit 1600 degrees on my egt gauge. And yeah I would definitely hit up Nick or any of them for that matter at DuramaxTuner and let him know what your wanting to do and he'll get you taken care of. They've actually got a KZbin page you can look up and see a lot of stuff they've done. I think it's just DuramaxTuner for the username.

No, the only tune that smokes is the smoke & lope tune. The 250 rear wheel tune smokes on take off, but cleans up as soon as the turbo lights.

Yes, it washes out the cylinder walls, but it's ok if you only run it for short amounts of time.

ran outta room on the other post. Yeah it was pretty loud compared to the people's systems around here but Kicker isn't exactly the best equipment the best advice I could give you is save your money and go for the best to begin with its cheaper that way. If you wanna see some real bass look up LIFEOFPRICE on here he has 10 psi 18's and 40k watts. Mine was a door speaker compared to his.

Really I wouldn't worry about tweets too much until you replace your door speakers trust me from experience I would much rather take good door speakers over tweets. I now have a crew cab chevy and have all 4 door speakers replaced with alpines. I have a sony headunit and a clarion eq and don't even have subs and don't really NEED them. Need being the key word I will be adding two twelves pretty soon.

I want to know if you had to make some speaker adapters for the 6.5" in your doors. since ford is 6x8/5x7 I'd imagine you would have to. could you let me know what you did

@xkickerfanboyx I don't know what video you watched. The box definitely was ported and nothing was touching the cone of the sub. I have a new setup for temporary now though the truck just didn't have enough cubic space for those subs.
