Have you tried using rigid band and metal lab in this deck? I use it with super scoop up too It helps against so many match ups and can lead to getting two or three more attacks off each game

yes, busted turn is start thorns, hopefully waste their turn, then tm evo into 2 drakloaks. very good into majority of format.

archaludon is so terrible, stage 1 and capped 220 damage just isnt enough, only makes sense is you have another uncapped attacker such as Dialga Vstar.

I’m not so sure you can personally. I guess it being an Ancient Pokemon opens up some possibilities, but I have a feeling it will inevitably be too clunky since you need Brute Bonnet to poison as well.

Call bell should be considered for any deck that relies on a setup supporter. If you have 4 copies of a card, you have a 38% chance of seeing it in your opening hand; if you have 4 of a supporter and 4 call bells to fetch one, then that's a 63% chance of starting the game with what you need. So it's not a game breaker, but it can help the consistency of certain decks.

The line at 24:15 goes as follows (w 2nd vessel prized it comes down to a blind draw of ninja if u hit 1 energy of any kind it'll work) : 1. Play terapagos and a noctowl finding a vessel and an ultra ball. 2. Ultra ball away 2 dead cards finding palkia v. 3. Play 2nd noctowl finding ultra and nest ball. Ultra ball pitch palkia v and a area zero to find 3rd noctowl and nest for radiant greninja. 4. Play 3rd noctowl finding prime catcher and ultra ball, and pitch the 2nd area zero to earthen vessel finding double water. 5. Play ultra ball pitching water and night stretcher finding vstar. At this point your hand should be 1 water, thorton, prime, and vstar. 6. Concealed cards. If u find any other energy u win the game. (If not u might draw a supporter which is y we didn't thorton yet but thinned as much as possible). 7. If u found an energy play thorton turning fan rotom into palkia V and evolve him into the vstar. 8. Attach any energy from hand to ninja and star portal for the final 2. Then play prime promoting ninja 9. Attack using moonlight shuriken and congrats on winning the duel :>

If you attach to Fan Rotom and hard retreat BEFORE you Thorton, you don’t need the Prime Catcher since Star Portal can attach all three energies. Personally, I would start with (1) Noctowl -> Vessel + Nest Ball (for Greninja) (2) Concealed Cards - try to draw into an Energy before committing a play that spends all your Noctowls (3) 2nd Noctowl - 2 Ultra Balls for Palkia V and V Star. (4) You don’t even need the third Noctowl, since you have all the pieces needed to make the play now.

@inazumatan7050 yea that's true idk y I didn't think abt just retreat lol. I do like ur line but in my opinion the only way to win that turn is to attack w radiant greninja and I do agree that that ur line doesn't take any risks but when u do all the searching first before u draw ur more likely to draw the energy ud need to to win the game that turn. I personally wouldn't do my line in bo1 just cuz if I whiff I lose the round but I do think the more riskier play is the one I would personally do in bo3 where if I whiff I just go first and if I hit it i win the game immediately

⁠@@StetsonM After all the thinning in your line, there would be 5 Energies left in a 29 Card Deck - the odds of drawing an Energy off Concealed Cards is 32%. I personally don’t think this is a worthwhile gamble since your matchup against Gholdengo isn’t particularly horrible that you’d need to bank on these odds. If you did not thin, there’d be 5 Energies left in a 33 Card Deck: the odds of drawing an Energy off Greninja in this situation is 28.41%.

absolutely not, it’s not even a water pokemon to get energy from star portal. black kyurem should not be played outside of very specific anti-meta usage in control

While i do think it feels like an iron Thorns deck more than a dragapult deck in feel, it is much more versatile and some matchups you don't even use the iron Thorns if it doesn't work well albeit those can usually be bad matchups. Usually when people say "this is just that but with extra steps," they usually mean both decks accomplish the exact same thing but one is less consistent or less powerful. They both add a strong element to each other and can actually solve some bad matchups for both decks.

It depends on the matchup. In some matchups it plays as a mostly Iron Thorns deck. In some matchups it plays as a mostly Dragapult deck. In most matchups it's Iron Thorns early, Dragapult late. And you have to know when to transition.
