thnx, i was trying to solve it, 3rd layer CROSS was just letter 'T' - the last piece was upside down... so I took it out and inserted correctly...:)

The technique is sound. It took 2 hours of focus & dedication, but I can confirm it works!

Your cube was completely different scrambled so mine doesn't have cubes sticking out or any holes so it doesn't really help that much

Finally superglued the blue center piece back on my old Rubik's cube that I dropped as a kid... aaaaand every video is saying "just don't mess with it lol" and moving on. Damn. Well I didn't but super glue for nothing so I'm gonna follow the video anyway.
