The Sledgehammer/ Down Down Up Up is my favorite algorithm, it is extremely powerful. You can move edges, orient edges, and move and orient corners by just repeating it multiple times: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bnKceKSNjMqIh8k You can solve most puzzles by using solely the Sledgehammer (3x3, Megaminx, Pyraminx, Skewb, Masterskweb, Face Turning Octahedron, Redi Cube, Bauhinia Dodecahedron, and some more.) I’ve solved a Cube many times, but I know none of this technical stuff. I just see what each move accomplishes BESIDES my intentions. Then it begins to fall in place. There are no other words for it. No letters & numbers, no algorithm. Just turning errors into a solve.
