I’ve never owned a pair of boots that weren’t steel toe, got my first ones in high school and I’m 45 now. As a result I don’t mind them at all, other than being cold. That is a pain but I live in Ala. so we don’t really do cold very well. I have some OT’s on the way with a comp toe. Will be my first hand made boot to.

I just got my pair of 300X’s about three weeks ago, I’ve worn them every day since. Other than them being much longer than I expected, probably like a full size longer than my other PNW boots of the same size. I have no complaints. Amazing boots for the money. I wouldn’t say “no break in” but I already have probably over 100hrs in them and they already feel nice and broke in. Money well spent

In the same boat as people buying these and wanting to branch out to the other stuff you guys have. The 8" custom forefronts in that beautiful grey leather is my dream boot. Saving up to eventually get those.

Just got mine the other day. Loving the quality and I'll definitely be saving up for some custom forefronts.

My 300X's are fantastic. I have had mine for just over a year and at the end of the day I often don't want to take them off. The hardware does bite into my leg at bit even with kilties and thick socks but not enough to make me want to not wear them.

I love my JK Boots. However, that sole wears out waaaaay too fast. Please follow Nicks Boots lead and change that sole to a longer wearing sole. Again, i love my JK'S but man, i have to say those soles need an upgrae desperately.

Why does jk use the same last for all there boots???

As nice as the boot is. Im not spending 300+ dollars for boots. Its just too expensive. Ill stick to 60 dollar boots to break in.

I would love the option to have eyelets all the way up. I haven't mastered speed hooks and they are pretty rough on the inside. Im going to have a cobbler put eyelets on the 300, and if its acceptable, I'll have my OTs done.

I wear this boot all the time super comfortable. My only problem now is I don’t have one with the safety toe so I have to get a new pair. Great belts too.

If I had one wish for my 300x it would be to have the tongue gusseted a little bit higher. But it's a 6" boot so I understand.

I bought some sketchers work boots for 100 bucks and I’m 6 months in with them and their a dream to wear. Super comfy and water proof.

I love mine a year later. Everything is great, except I still don't like how floppy the tongue is and low-cut the gusset of the tongue is. If it was a full gusset or thicker, it wouldn't slide and bunch throughout the day.

It's good to show even the more negative reviews and go over them. I did note on the cut in-half boot that the tongue did appear to be a far lower grade in general, but you made mention it has been noted and you look for alternatives.
