My good reads goal for 2024 was 75, and I wound up reading 97. So i went ahead and set this year to 100. I don’t actually own or buy any physical books anymore, i just read on kindle unlimited. I prefer reading digital cause holding physical books will make my hands ache, and i like that I don’t need a light sine i like to read before bed.

I have picked up and started the crescent series about 10 times and I just have a hard time getting totally into it. I know book 2 is better than book 1 but I’m 1/3 done and it just isn’t keeping my interest. Ugh

I’ve enjoyed the book talks some of my favorite creators have done, and found a couple titles I want to read. Where do you store all the books? I’ve been reading on my iPad Kindle due to the space I don’t have for books. I have at last count over 1,000 books on the Kindle. Plus, since I am 67, had cataract surgery, I can adjust the fonts. I just wondered why most of you haven’t gone the Kindle/tablet direction? It’s very convenient to have your entire library with you in your purse. I also joined Kindle Unlimited and can read lots of free books with that. Just wondering. Reading is great no matter how you do it! I am currently reading Fourth Wing, Spark of the Everflame, and re-reading The All Soul’s trilogy. Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! I am totally focused on reading from my TBR, as I have over 100 books to get through before I purchase any more. Crazy, I know. I have read 172 books in 2024, so I should be able to make a huge dent. I made a TBR jar for picking a book, as I am such a mood reader and don't stick to the the books I pull. Lol. Currently reading June First by Jennifer Hartmann. 😘💜📖

I don't do monthly tbr's because it's just too much pressure on me but I do seasonal tbr's and I just picked out my winter one. There's only 10 books on that list but it also allows me to mood read and do videos I want to do as well. I actually need to edit the winter tbr so it can go up today or tomorrow.

I’m almost finished with the fourth wing. Then I plan on reading Quicksilver. Then, I’ll get the 2nd and 3rd in the Fourth Wing series.

I iust recently got kindle unlimited too!!!! Im ao excited over it and in my first month of having it read 19 books . I iust cant tear myself away from it. Its super awesome to have it as someone who luvs to read but because of health issues has started having issues with actual books and trying to hold them for very long or leave the house to aquire them or visit the library.

Hey, love the new hair. I got stuck with an early shift New Years Day, so I tried to go to bed early. Too many fireworks to really fall asleep. 🎆 I am happy that I have started reading again thanks to youtubers like yourself. I used to read so so much. I took many of your recommendations in 2024, starting last summer. I read 2 out of 3 Crave books. I'll eventually finish it, but tbh in a lot of YA books the lead characters are stupid impulsive, and I need a break sometimes. Speaking of YA, I am on the 3 book of Throne of Glass. I read ACOTAR. Still need to read the rest of the series. I read Quicksilver. The Hollows (books 12 through 17). I read this series a long time ago and was delighted that 5 more books had come out. Witch/Vampire/pixie/demon in the city kind of books. I read the Riley Thorn series. Knockemout Book one (not sure if I will go further in this series, but you never know.) The first two books of The Ruinous Love series. I started Legends and Lattes but I still need to finish it. The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo Death by Bubble Tea (LA Night Market series). A quick mystery I picked up for a flight. As far as non fiction, I read mostly travel books and magazines, cook books, and one psychology book (in progress) "How Normal Behavior Became a Sickness: Shyness." I think last year I only read the Deadly Education (1&2) series. I know you couldn't get into this one, but I am excited to read book 3. Also, the writing style is odd so I definitely had a hard time when I started this series as well. .. but I need to journal more about what I read so I remember everything better. ❤
