Crazy that xience went under with all the promotion UFC put behind it. I loved their energy drinks . Can't find them anywhere now. Or their supplements. Crazy how much the sport evolved as well. All my favorite fighters from back in the day would get absolutely killed by today's fighters .

This was a really good show. I liked seeing how some of the stars behaved back then, i could always tell Andre was a class act though, he was one of my first favorite fighters.

Rich is the man but this training now looks so ancient, he goes as hard as anyone but without real sparring, well we seen the difference when he fought Anderson a guy who sparred all the time, he destroyed Rich in both fights because as good as Rich was he hated getting hit.

When this dude was at his best, he was almost unstoppable. Then Chuck came into the limelight, and basically ended Tito's career as a champion with his insane power, and style. Chuck was tailor made by God to destroy Tito Ortiz. That doesn't change the fact that Tito is an OG legend of the sport of mma. In his prime, he would have given anyone a run for their money, if not completely destroy them with his physicality, and ground game. Post-2004 Tito began to decline, and the injuries started getting to him. He would turn back the clocks, and have a great round or two, and then stagnate in the octagon. When he was in his prime, he was explosive, relentless, and a physical specimen for anyone who had to go against him. He also beat a lot of excellent fighters, and came close to beating a few more later in his career despite being far from his best. Tito deserved to get memed to death, but he also deserves to be highly respected as an athlete, fighter, father, and man. For all of the crap we give him, and all of Tito's pettiness, he really is a good guy at heart. He just gets in his own way sometimes.

Rich set the standard for the modern MMA athlete. He was the first to be so complete with fitness, skill, and well-roundedness. I think lots of current fighters could learn a lot from him. He would have gone on a tear at Middleweight if it wasn't for the MW GOAT that was Anderson Silva.
@prettypinkmma777010 ай бұрын
yeah dude, the only loss he has to not a champion was his last fight against Cung Le (who was a Strike Force Champ) Lyoto Machina, ViTRT BelfTRT, Forest Griffin, Dan Henderson, and GOAT Anderson Silva aren't bad losses over the span of like 40 fights

@mr.brenman21322 ай бұрын
Yeah right. There were way more obvious steriod users during that time period. It's the perfect nickname because he was a natural talent.

@@mr.brenman2132 haha he was one of the most obvious ones. Love the guy, but let's call a spade a spade. He was juiced.
@mr.brenman21322 ай бұрын
@@babybison2881 Lol no he was not. Not even close. Do you have a positive test? You don't know what calling a spade a spade means clearly. If you loved the guy you would have never made this comment.
@babybison28812 ай бұрын
@@mr.brenman2132 they didn't test back then...haha get a clue my guy. Saying no positive test means no guilt is a disingenuous argument. Barry Bonds never tested positive. Or Lance Armstrong. Guess they never juiced, either. He was more jacked at 42 than he was at 32 when he started. He was not natural. If you can't see that, then you're in denial.
@babybison28812 ай бұрын
@@mr.brenman2132 haha I guess you're in denial. They didn't test back then, so not even a chance for a positive result. Your argument is disingenuous. Lance Armstrong and Barry Bonds never tested positive either. Guess they never used the stuff either. All you have to do is look at him. He was shredded at 42 but not at 32 when he started. Explain that.
