I think in round 2 Iceman did 3 attacks. The freeze and fade takes an action, maybe thats the confusion

One mistake to note! At the end of the game, Cory accidentally performs 3 actions with Black Cat. It ended up being nonconsequential so we didn't go back and fix it. Enjoy the battle report!

I believe Dormmamu's incantation spender can absolutely be recast if you KO the target. There was an opporubity to recast into Iceman or Cyclops.

Huge mistake! Cory accidentally misinterpreted how Miles' leadership works, so you will notice that multiple characters (namely Amazing Spider-Man) will reroll two dice instead of one when using the leadership reroll. Live and learn! Apologies!

Just a heads up: Helios LAser Bombardment says "Enemy Characters within 2" not "other enemy characters within 2". The trigger damages the target as well.

GG. In the final turn Rhino used aggressive but advanced away from his attacker. Naughty! Don’t think it affected the outcome of the game though. Love this perspective and style!

How come Juggernauts damage reduction doesnt say, can be used once per turn. When i first started i would spend 3 power to reduce 3 wounds.

It says when taking damage, you may use this superpower, reduce the damage by 1. It does not say, you may spend x amount of power, and for each power spent you may reduce that amount of damage

Yeah so basically another way to think about is that Juggernaut can reduce damage for each instance of damage. So if he takes 3 wounds from an attack, he can reduce it by 1. But if he takes 3 wounds from an attack and 1 wound from a throw, he can reduce it twice, paying 2 and reducing the first attack to 2 and the throw to 0.

I think you do deployment wrong. It has to be "within" 3 range! You deploy outside of Range 3. That is wrong, isn't it?

Common misconception! In MCP “within” is the same as “at the edge”, or essentially that. At deployment this means you can be at the end of the range 3 tool and still be considered “within”. This is the same for contesting objectives at range 1, if you are at the edge of the range 1 tool (the short end of a stick), then you are considered “within” 1.

Great question! But the edge of the stick (range 3) is still considered “within”. We also sometimes use a premarked map at range 3.

At 5:33 when Nightcrawler puff of smoked off the Brimstone Blitz on Blade I do not think that was allowed since the brimstone did not deal damage and the ability states "After damage is dealt"

Actually it has been ruled on the forum that damage is not required to be dealt to Puff of Smoke! So thankfully it triggers every single time Nightcrawler makes an attack.

Two mistakes to note! 20:28 accidentally used the Montesi Formula attack twice, when you are only allowed to use it once per turn. 29:43 accidentally used Puff of Smoke after KOing Ghost Rider and again off of Wong later, when you cannot place off of a KOed model since they shouldn't be on the board at that point of the timing resolution. My bad!

Good catch but also Brimstone blitz can't target a new charecter with the triggered attack. It has to target the original charecter. Nightcrawler is a tricky piece for sure.

I would need to go back and rewatch to see if Cory missed it or not. But Dormammu should only be gaining 1 power anytime he takes damage. No matter how much damage he takes.

For the Helios example, if it was a superpower or attack that cost power and gwen moved hulk out of range, the attacker still loses the power and gains the action back?

Correct! The power cost is still spent but the attacker gets the action back. This is true for any superpower or attack that is shut down by Gwen’s Life Saver reactionary super power (or any other super power with a similar effect).
